"So you can basically teleport to wherever you want?" Allison whispers to me as we walk down the school hall, heading towards the library. I had told her about my recent 'ability' earlier this morning, but she was in too much of a rush to really listen.
A smile forms across my lips. "Yup. I think I can only do it to places I've been and can picture in my mind, but I'm not positive yet. I haven't gotten to experiment with it much."
I could tell that Allison was happy for me; she was glad that I found a way to make life on this side a little bit more fun. "That's really great, Corey. Just promise me you won't picture yourself somewhere in the Bahama's and leave me here in little old Beacon Hills with the problem of a Kanima."
I laugh, knowing though that I'd never do something like that. I'd never leave Allison. "I won't, I promise. Besides, I'm starting to kind of like all of the action here."
"It gets old fast," Allison says, sighing slightly as she turns and walks into the library. My eyes follow her own as she glances up at the security camera, then glancing over at Scott and Stiles before back at me. "I don't know how I'm supposed to explain to them about you-"
"Maybe I can find a way to show them," I say, ideas starting to run through my head. "Maybe I could pick up an object or move something-"
"Allison!" Stiles whispers furiously, causing me to stop my sentence short. Allison looks up at the two boys before walking around to the other side of the book shelf, pulling out her tablet that she was planning on showing the two of them. She couldn't exactly be caught hanging around Scott since Gerard was the principle now, along with the fact that he was a werewolf.
Allison hands Scott the tablet through the book shelf. "That's all that I could get Lydia to translate. And trust me, she was very confused."
"Yeah-what'd you tell her?" Scott says while scrolling down on the screen.
Allison chuckles softly. "I told her that we were apart of an online gaming community that battles mythical creatures."
Scott laughs silently as Stiles stares at the two of them wide eyed. "I am apart of an online gaming community that battles mythical creatures."
Allison's face goes numb as Scott buries his from his laughter. "Oh--um, great."
"Does this say how to find out who's controlling him?" Scott says, getting back onto topic. I imagine myself standing behind Scott before the next thing I know, I am. I wanted to get a better look at the tablet.
Allison shakes her head as she smiles slightly at me, since that was the first time she's seen me do that. "Not really. But Stiles was the right about the murderers."
Stiles fist bumps the air. "Yes!"
"The Kanima is a symbol of vengeance," Allison continues to say. "There's a story in there about the South American Priest, who uses the Kanima to execute the murderers in his village."
"Alright see? Maybe it's not all that bad," Stiles says as Scott continues to skim over the tablet. I glance over his shoulder and see a bunch of highlighted words, but I couldn't see all of it.
Allison grabs a book, acting as if she was doing something. "Until the bond grows strong enough to where he could kill anyone he wanted to."
"All bad, all very very bad," Stiles says quickly, his face seeming to grow more pale.
Allison nods her head. "Here's the thing, though. The Kanima is actually supposed to be a werewolf, but it can't be until-"
"Until is resolves that in it's past which manifests it," Scott finishes for her.
