Our wedding day soon rolled up quicker than I expected. The wedding planning was also very quick. Booking things were fairly difficult because some of the places were already booked. But here it was, the day Damian and I were getting married. I was crazy nervous but my mum, Damian's mum, Grace and Lara were all here with me trying to calm me down. I was currently freaking out because I was scared that Damian would do a runner.
"Darling, he's probably thinking the exact same thing about you," Damian's mum tells me with a reassuring smile. "The both of you are madly in love and he will be there and so will you."
"Yeah, come on Kylie! He loves you and you love him!" Grace exclaimed with a huge grin. "So let's get your butt out there and get you married!" I was starting to feel much better and less nervous. He wouldn't do a runner on me, would he? I was just being crazy!
"We've got to head out but your dad should be here soon," mum says to me. She kisses me on my cheek and they all head out. After about five minutes, I heard a knock on the door. I took a deep breath and opened to door.
"You look beautiful," dad told me, giving me a kiss on the cheek too like my mum. "Come on, you've got a man to get married too." We hooked our arms together and walked towards the aisle. I heard the music playing and I took another deep breath. At least I know he didn't do a runner. Dad and I walk down the aisle and Damian looks straight at me with a tearful look in his eyes but still had a smile on his face. "Congrats," he said to me before giving me away to Damian. Damian and I join hands.
"You look so stunning," he whispered to me.
"Thanks. You look really handsome, hubby-to-be." The officiator sort of droned on and I dozed off. Well, not exactly. My gaze was focused on Damian. He was really handsome looked so proud to be marrying me. Hell, I was proud to be marrying him. I honestly felt so lucky to be marrying him. The day has finally come and I was overwhelmed with emotions. I tried my hardest not to cry because I didn't want to ruin my makeup as well as not wanting to become a sobbing mess. I know Damian wouldn't care but I would and I'd look so awful with makeup running down my face. Unfortunately, I forgot my waterproof makeup so I had to be super careful not to tear up too much.
"Do you, Damian King, take this woman to be your lawful wedded wife?"
"I do." I did a mini squeal in my head and I don't know why. He wouldn't be here if he didn't want to.
"Do you, Kylie Sawyer, take this man to be your lawful wedded husband?" I took a quick deep breath and grinned.
"I do."
"With the power invested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss your bride." Damian almost immediately pulled me closer towards him and planted a soft, gentle kiss on my lips. Everyone cheered and whistled as we kissed. I felt a blush coming up on my cheeks as I always got embarrassed when people saw me kiss Damian. I just wasn't a huge fan of having people watch me kiss my partner. When Damian and I pulled apart, he sported the hugest grin on his face.
He scooped me up bridal style - shocking me a little and making me squeal in surprise - and walked us down the aisle. Everyone cheered for us as we walked out. Once we were outside and at the bottom of the steps, the girls had gathered so I could throw my bouquet. It was decided that I'd throw the bouquet straight after the wedding rather than the reception. I don't know why, but I wanted to. By this point, Damian still hadn't put me down. I thought I'd just throw the bouquet and so I did. I didn't know who caught it because as soon as it had left my hands I was placed in a car.
