Publishing?

Hello, long time no see. Wait no, I posted something the other day, never mind 😂😂

Anyway... publishing, huh? You guys know how much I wish to become a published author, successful even, and to hopefully one day possibly get MBBF published.

Funny story, actually. I got that chance. Yeah, someone from a publishing agency had contacted me and basically asked if I wanted MBBF to be published (and don't worry, they were a legit company & person) and obviously I said yes! I mean, why wouldn't I? My dream was on its way of becoming true. So, I began emailing the person who said my story was gonna be reviewed by an editor. This was during the time I was editing (and that's why I was editing majorly so I was happy with the story) and so after I finished editing, they reviewed it. This editor was the person who would make or break my dream.

They broke my dream.

In simple terms, my story was too boring and cliché to be published. Oh, I was utterly heartbroken, believe me. My dream was ripped from me just like that. I cried my eyes out — happened to make my mom cry too because she saw how upset I was. I cried like a little baby, seriously. Wouldn't you, though?

Oh, and I was basically told that if I made changes to the book (more detail to Kylie's thoughts, more unique plot etc) then go back to them and they'll do the same process again and they'll either make or break my dream again. You know what I'm gonna do? Nothing. I am finally happy with the way this story played out and if that company won't publish it, then whatever.

Now, why am I telling you this if MBBF isn't gonna be published? Well, that is because when I get my schedule cleared up, I am going to attempt to find other publishing companies that will publish MBBF just the way it is. At least I have some hope here, right? Maybe my dream can become true. Let's just hope, huh? Haha :)

But seriously, I honestly love you all so much. You're all like family to me, whether you're new or old readers :) old? Psh, that sounds awful. The originals? I don't know! Um, yeah. Hehe I love you all soooooooooooooo much 💜💚
