Salvager

Chapter 2

        We pulled up into the driveway of a house that looked like the Taj Mahal. Okay I'm over exaggerating but it was pretty big. and tall. It was a modern house that was surrounded by trees. the house had like about five thousands windows, okay I'm doing it again I'm over exaggerating. I looked around in awe while grabbing my suitcase from the trunk.

"i came here when I was a kid, Chris and I would ride our bikes down here. I had a huge crush on Kara." jack pointed over to two big rocks on the side of the house "I tried doing a trick on that rock, over there and I got stitches on the back of my elbow. Good times" he sighed then grabbed his suit case and rolled into the house. "hey" everyone greeted us in sync they were all in the kitchen that was up by one stairs the house was a little digital. It looked almost like the Collins house in twilight. I'm a twilight freak if I could read the series over again I would.

"hey" Jack said and then went to talk to his friends, leaving me at the entry. All of Jacks friend were here Dylan, Kara, Spencer and... Christian. They all had a cold one in their hand as they started talking about this massive bon fire their going to have. Once Christian saw me everyone got all quiet and still. They didn't know how we'll react and I could tell they were kinda nervous. Who knows what Christian will do. Other than Kara, Christian and Jack I didn't know Spencer or Dylan. I didn't have time to get to know them.

"Rosaline right?" Spencer said, though it wasn't friendly at all.

"yea, and you must be Spencer" I added a little smile, to emphasize  my happiness without Christian.

"It's rad that you came." Kara pulled my wrist. She pulled me into the kitchen, Christian stood there. "There's so much I have to tell you about. I want you to know that I've never missed you like this before." Kara was always melodramatic for some reason. She was Native- American and African-American. She didn't grow up on the reservation like most of her family. Though she loves her root, and where she came from.

"It was only a day Kara." I said with a smile.
"And so it seemed like forever." Jack brought in the rest of our suitcase. Standing next to Christian I felt like I couldn't breath. He kept on taking a swig of his beer, he didn't look at me. Oh god what did I do.
Jack walked over to Kara and wrapped his arms around her. I just wish Christian and I can go back to normal.

"I wasn't suppose to be here, I actually didn't want to come. But you know Jack... He kept pushing. He never stops until he gets what he wants." I said as I leaned on the counter.

   "it's not a party until the famous Rosalina's there."Kara, like always was being cheerful. "come in i'll show you to your room" she grabbed my suitcase and lead me up  one stair, then we turned a corner and she lead me up a flight of stairs.
We entered this massive room with one large bed.
"This is you" she said eagerly, while switching on the lights. "Christian said that y'all will be able to share a room, I just don't know why. But this is y'all."
    I looked around the room, it was descent. The bed had white sheets on it with four pillows, the carpet was white and so was the curtains. The room had a walk in closet and an attachable bathroom. Yup I like it here.
"I like it"  the room was just glorious. Although I wanted to know why Christian wanted to share, the vibe that he has been giving off tells that he wants us to be apart, not together.

"Okay then, when your done can you come down and help us settle in?" I looked at her for a while.
"Sure" I nodded solemnly. A few minutes after they left I unpacked. I placed my clothes neatly in each drawer and placed my coat on the hanger and placed them in the closet.
   when I was done I walked in the hall. I heard a lot of chatting and laughter's, I stopped at the end
   "she's extremely hot, Jack if she wasn't your sister I would bang her" the boy name Dylan said. "But oh well I'm dating Spence."
