Chap. 10: Confrontation

Ashny's POV ~
       I told Zoro about Mihawk sensei. And just by that, he offered me to be his student. I happily accepted it. And he is Zoro sensei to me now.. We both stood up from the ground, and he went directly into the kitchen, to get some sake maybe. While I was leaning on the railings, looking at the beautiful sunset. Time does fly fast. After a while, I noticed Luffy went out of the infirmary. I couldn't really see his face because he was looking down. His hair shadowwd his face. This made me feel somehow, hurt.
       'I don't get it. When he stares at me, my insides flutter. When he smiles at me, my face heats up. Don't tell me I-no. We just met yesterday. But, seeing him like this, it broke me inside. Why?'
       He walked towards me and stopped in front of me. I looked at him worried and asked him, "Luffy, are you okay. I saw you went out the infirmary. What's wrong, does it hurt anywhere?" he didn't reply, neither looked up. I grabbed both of his shoulders and shook him sideways. "Luffy, answer me. What's wrong? Please. You can talk to me." my voice was cracking 'why was captain acting this way.'
         I saw him flinched a bit, but later he was shaking. "Luffy?"

Luffy's POV ~
        After staying in the infirmary for a while, I went out. I couldn't believe myself, I love someone more than meat. But that's not the problem. I hate this feeling. It's just something inside me is telling me to let it all out. I walked to the railings, to see, Ashny. I looked down so she couldn't see my face. I let me hair shadow my face. I continued to walk to her. Every time I take a step, my heart is beating loudly, like it's gonna come out of my chest. (A/N: This is so EXAGGERATING..) This was the first time I've ever felt something like this. I stopped in front of her. What the hell is happening to me.
        "Luffy, are you okay? I saw you went out the infirmary. What's wrong, does it hurt anywhere?" she had a worry in her voice. I don't know what to say. She grabbed my shoulders and shook me sideways. "Luffy, answer me. What's wrong? Please. You can talk to me." I was already shaking like hell. I needto tell her. Otherwise, I'll explode. Not really, but I must tell her. "Luffy?" I then looked up to her, with a nervous smile on my face. "Ashny. I need to tell you something." she looked confused. I sighed.
          "Ashny. I know this is fast and you're my crewmate. But, I always have these weird feelings when I'm around you." I breathed and calmed down. "I'm not a guy that's romantic but, ever since you came, I have these feelings of affection towards you. I think, I-I love you." (A/N: And the following is brought to you by, so CHEESY.) Her widened and mouth open a little. "Uh, captain? Do you know what love is? The others somehow told me you don't care much about it." she said and her face was red.
        "I know now what love is. At first, I thought iyt was like loving meat. But it's more than that. I love someone than meat. I love you Ashny, more than meat." I said completely to her. Her face was even redder than before. "Oi, are you okay?" I touched her forehead to see if she has a fever or something. But I noticed something on her forehead. "Uh...." I tried to lift some of her hair, but she suddenly smiled at me and took my hands.
         "That's how I feel too captain. I too, feel weird when I'm around you. And I'm happy with it." she said and hugged me. "I love you too Luffy." she whispered. And I hugged back. "So that means you're mine then?" I asked her. "Yeah. But is this okay with the crew?" "YEAH!!!"
           I didn't answer that. I turned around, and saw everyone smiling and giving thumbs up. "Good work you guys. You two are perfect for each other! Kyaaaa!" Nami squeled. "I'm happy for you Luffy. Do you feel better now?" "Chopper asked, and I said, "I feel great!" 'So this must be what love at first sight is.'
