Chap. 9: My new Sensei

Zoro's POV ~
I woke up my sleep when I heard something slammed. I looked up to see everyone frowning. "What's with those faces." I asked them. "You see, Ashny hate guns because of what happened to her. And we don't know if she'll be okay with Franky. Then she walked out on us. Franky followed her." Chopper explained to me what happened. I remained expressionless. I didn't bother replying them and walked out the kitchen as well..
When I got out, I saw Franky in front of the girls room. He was talking to someone. "We are SUPER ok now." Franky said, doing his pose. "Super ok, bro." I heard Ashny's voice. I walked closer to see what they're actually doing. "What's up." I said to them. "Nothing much. We're just straightening things out." Ashny said. " So I heard." But I can't help but notice the katana on her waist. "Ashny, mind if I speak with you." I said, while Franky walked back to the kitchen. "Yeah, sure." she said.
We walked all the way down the deck, and sat there. There was no one around actually, but I saw Nami went inside her office or something. And some are still in the kitchen maybe. "So, what is it that you wanna talk about?" She asked first. "No, I should ask you first. How did you learn how to fight with those. You're style is like copycat's. But you're way faster than her." I pointed to her katana. (A/N: Oh, copycat? That's Tashigi by the way, if some doesn't know.) "I was training." She said. "Where sid you get those?" "My sensei gave it to me." "Who?" "Mihawk sensei." 'Mihawk? The greatest swordsman in the world? My rival. He taught her? But why. These questions are bugging me. I must find out. Maybe she has something against us.' "Dracule 'Hawk-eye' Mihawk. But why him. Why did he taught someone like you." "Hey! What do you mean, someone like me. I may be a kid, but I am not a someone." she pouted, which was cute. "Fine kid. Now answer my question. Tell me." "Hmmp. Because I asked him to. He was like a guardian to me over these past few years. A very strict and cold guardian. Wait, do you know him?" I nodded me head and said, "Yeah. He's the one who did this to me." I said and showed my large scar over my chest down to my stomach. Her eyes just widened. "I-He, he didn't tell me." "Don't change the subject. Now, why did he taught you. Did he say something about it?" I irritatedly asked. She cleared her throat and opened her mouth.
"Well, you see, when my only family died, I didn't find anyplace to stay. I was still very young and atill on that isl-" "Straight to the point! I don't do back stories about families." I said. She mumbled something I didn't hear. "What did you say?" I asked she said, "Nothing." and smiled. "Go on.But no long back stories. Just tellme what happened." "Ok. So everyone died in the island I was on, except me. Then after that, he came. He was sailing a boat that looked like a cofin, with a cross on it. And he noticed me, walking on the shore. He told me his name, because I asked him to. Well, more like forced him to. And when I learned about his ambition, I requested him to train me. At first, he didn't agre, and he almost tried to kill me because I was only a kid. But I didn't give up and kept forcing him until he surrendered. He was scary to me at first, but he also had a good side on him as well. Somtimes he would leave the island and me alone training. Then one day, he was about to leave the island and told me I was old enough to go if I wanted to. So I said yes." She explained. "So that was it." I asked and she nodded.
There was a strong wind that passed us and it blew some of her bangs. Then I noticed something on her forehead. It was an 'X' mark scar on the righr side of her forehead. "What happened to that." I pointed at her scar. "Oh this? This was from my training. I was only a beginner that time. That's why I got this." she said and lifted her bangs to show her scar. She smiled a bit but then frowned. "What's the problem now." I asked. "It's just that, since Mihawk sensei is now gone, there will be no one to train me, and train with me." she said. Then I got an idea. "How about, I train you. Well, I am a swordsman. And I'm gonna become the greatest swordsman in the world after I defeat Mihawk. What do you say. I insist." I offered to her. She smiled widely, which I did find adorable, and nodded. "I'd love to."
