Chap. 7: Set sail

Luffy's POV ~
Ashny fell asleep in my arms after crying. She must've been feeling down and hurt, now that I recalled her past. I don't know why I feel this way, or why I'm doing this. Maybe, because she's a family and friend. But somehow, I feel sleepy, so I rested my head on the railings and slept.

- Morning -
The sun shined in my eyes. I woke up, but my stomach are heavy. I looked down and, Ashny was hugging me while sleeping. I moved some hair away from her face. She looked so peaceful. Yet, my stomach feels weird. I must be sick. I think I'll ask Chopper later. I didn't even realise I kept staring at her. I looked at my crew, but they were still sleeping on deck. But Robin wasn't there. Then Ashny moved. "Ah. It's morning already." she said. She moved closer to me. My heart beated loudly. I must be really sick. I don't know the feeling.

Ashny's POV ~
So bright. "Ah. It's morning already." I said, eyes still closed. I moved closer and cuddled at the warm figure around me. What happened last night, oh right. I told captain my story and fell asleep with him. 'Huh, fell asleep?' I quickly opened my eyes and captain staring at me. I immediately let go of him and got up. "Uh, sorry captain." I said, looking anywhere but him. "It's alright. Shishishi." he said while grinning. "Ehehehe." I laughed nervously. What was I doing. "Did you two have fun last night? Luffy-san, Ashny-chan." I looked up and saw Robin smirking. "Um, Yeah." I answered. "Oh. Good morning." I greeted both of them. "Good morning." Robin greeted. "Ah~ I'm hungry. Sanji, make me meat breakfast!" Luffy shouted. "Oi, oi. Don't be so loud. The others are still sleeping." Sanji said, standing up. "Uh, Sanji. I'm hungry too. Can I have meat also." I said to Sanji. "Hai, Ashny-chwan! I'll make you meat - sandwiches." he said, dancing into the kitchen. "Hey, I want some too Sanji! What about me." Luffy pouted, going into the kitchen.

Time Skip ~
Everyone was now awake and eating breakfast. Same as always. There were shouting and food flying. "So, Ashny-chan. What were you and captain-san doing last night,while everyone was still asleep?" Robin started, while sipping her tea. I almost choked out my food. "Eh! N-Nothing really. Just talking. Captain and I are just talking!" Why am I nervous anyway. "Shishishi. Hey Ashny. Just call me Luffy." Captain, I mean Luffy said. "Ok, Luffy." I smiled. "What were you talking about, Ashny.?" Chopper suddenly asked while eating his cotton candy. He was right beside me, so I carried him and sat him on my lap. I embraced him and buried my face in his big hat. There was silence. I looked up and smiled. "My family." I hugged Chopper tighter. "Ashny, are you ok? I can't breathe." he asked. "Oh, yeah. Sorry." I said, and realised Luffy was staring at me. his expression was saying that I can tell the crew about it. "It's okay." I mouthed to him.

Time Skip ~
After he finished telling my story to everyone, I walked out thw kitchen. I sat on the grassy deck for a while, calming myself. I heard a door opened then closed, but I didn't bother to look who it was. "Hey." it was Nami. She sat down beside me. "Hi." I replied. "Are you okay?" she asked worriedly. I didn't say anything. "Come on. We know it's hard for you to loose someone you love. Every each of us also have lost some people we love. Even me. So don't worry, you have some allies with you. We're family. That's all that matters now." she said patting my back. I smiled at her. "Thanks Nami." I hugged her and she hugged back. We both let go. "Come on. Let's get ready. We've got a long adventure ahead of us. We're gonna set sail this morning, since the logpose has set. I'll let the others know. Cheer up." she said smiling. "Ok."
