(This is what the view from the very top of Inspiration Tower looks like, where Phil and Melody go in this chapter. There is also a video of the zip line)

My alarm goes off at 6:00 and I actually get out of bed willingly. I hop in the shower and change into some comfortable yoga pants and a purple shirt, then slip on some plain black converse.
After triple checking my suitcases and making sure I have everything, there's a knock on the door. I go to answer it and pass Lucy on the way. "Morning, mum." She says, mouth full of cereal.
"Morning, Lucy." I respond, then open the door. Phil's standing there smiling next to a very pretty girl who I'm guessing is Carrie.
"Good morning, Melody." Phil smiles. "This is Carrie."
"Hello, Melody." She shakes my hand, smiling.
"Hi, Carrie. Thanks so much for watching Lucy whilst Phil and I are away."
"Oh, it's no problem at all."
All of a sudden Lucy runs up and hugs Carrie, "Hi, Carrie, it's an honour to have you as my caretaker for a few days, you are amazing."
"Thank you, Lucy. I hope we can become best friends by the end of this week."
"That would be awesome."
As soon as Lucy and Carrie get done conversing, it's around 8:00. "Alright, Lucy, time for school."
"Give me a second to grab my bag," she replies, running to her room.
"She's such a nice young lady, Melody." Carrie says, "Do you mind if I drop her off at school?"
"Uh, sure. There's directions on the GPS in my car." I smile.
"I know we're going to have an amazing time together. And I know you and Phil will, too."
I really do hope so. If this goes successful, maybe Phil and I will go from "friends" to "best friends."
Or maybe even more that best friends...

We finally get situated on the plane and I lean back, sighing. "I'm so ready for this."
"Me, too." Phil replies, looking out the window. "Tell, me, Melody. What's there to do in Branson?"
"There's so many different things to do, but the number one place I want us to go to is Inspiration Tower."
"What's that?"
I smile, "Well, you can see miles and miles ahead of you, it's one of the highest points in the city. But the best part about it is..."
I stop, and he turns to look at me, "What?"
"We can go zip lining there."
"Zip lining?! No, Melody. That's dangerous-"
"-It's really not. I've done it before, it's a hundred percent safe."
He sighs, "Fine, I'll do it. As long as you go first."
"If you do it, we'll be going together."
He shrugs. "That's better, I suppose. What else is there to do?"
"There's museums, restaurants, mini golf courses, theatres, shops...when we get there and check in to our hotel, I'll grab loads of brochures. If we were to do every single thing there, we'd be here for half a year or longer."
