The Good, The Bad and The Wanted...

The Proposal

Rikki's P.O.V:

It was 10am and we were on our way to a place. To be honest I don't have the slightest clue of where I'm going. But I am excited none the less. I am buzzing. I love that expression, I mean its like we're very large flies. Anyway, we were driving down the motorway. I am no good at remembering ways to get to places, I don't often go, when suddenly the car comes to a hault. ' Traffic, great' Nathan moaned looking at his watch. ' Its more time to talk' I stated. ' But I want to get there quickly' he whined 'I know you do because you're impatient and grumpy' ' Me, grumpy,impatient! Never! I just wish that the traffic would hurry up.' I giggled at this remark and kissed him on the cheek. For the rest of the car journey we just sat in silence listening to the radio. It took a long time to get near to the place we were going and when we did get there Nathan told me to close my eyes. ' Fine' I moaned.  I closed my eyes and didn't open them. After ten minutes we stopped. 'Keep your eyes closed I'll come and get you' I heard his door open and shut and then felt mine open. Nath unclipped me and helped me out. 

"Oh God, nath be careful" I said butterflies breaking free in my stomach. I giggled at my the butterflies. "What are you laughing at" Nathan asked "I really dont know." we both laughed, Nathan more than me. "Ok so we're going down some stairs now" he said "Well have fun catching me when i fall" I giggled "It's alright" Nathan said leading me down the stairs. I gripped onto him and the railing. "Careful there, your grip is cutting the circulation off in my arm" He said. "Sorry" I mumbled. As we got to the bottem of the stairs, i could already smell the cotton candy and the fish and chips. "Nathan, are we at where we think we are" I said taking a deep breath in smelling the sea salt. "Where do you think we are" he asked,  "Adventure island" i said holding in a scream. "Boy, you're good at deducting things" He said uncovering my eyes. 

I squealed and wrapped my arms around his neck. "thank you thank you thank you thank you!" I kissed his face "I bloody love you Nathan sykes." Nathan blushed and hugged me back " You are so cute when you blush" I say pinching his cheeks. He grabs my hand and drags me to the ticket booth. He gets two wristbands and places one on me, then i get my hand stamped. "So what shall we go on first?" i ask excitedly "You choose" he said holding my hand. "Rage" i say directing him that way. I ran ahead pulling him along "Careful" We lined up and waited, it wasnt particularly busy so we got on pretty quickly. We got in and i grabbed hold of his hand "Nervous?" he asked, i shrugged "no i just want to hold your hand, is that ok?" I asked just as the cart started moving. I took a deep breath in and soon enough it was over. 

We went on about ten more rides, " Come on just choose a ride" i whine "Fine, the ferris wheel." He said pointing at it. "Go ahead" he said i ran towards the line. "Nervous" i asked as his grip on my hand tightend. 

Nathan's p.o.v: 

"Nervous" she asked, obviously i was nervous, but i could'nt tell you that. This was it, the big moment, i had to wait until we got to the top. I slide the box into my pocket, making sure it wouldnt fall out. We got onto the ride and Rikki immeadiatly looked out to the sea. As the ferris wheel got higher and higher. I built up more courage. " Rikki" i said. " Yes Nath" she replied looking at me. "Ever since i've been dating you my life has got so much better, we've had our downs, but we'll forget about them, we've had our complications, but we've also had the great times, which out weigh the bad ones, and it's taken a lot of courage to ask this, because you mean so much to me. But Rikki-" I kneel down on the floor and take the box out, her face goes from puzzled to shocked. I open the box to reveal a ring " Will you marry me?"  "Yes" she yells, i take the ring from the box and slide it on her finger. She admired it before tears spilling out of her eyes. She looks at me then at the ring. "I love you so much Nathan" She says kissing me. I kiss back smiling into the kiss, then sit on the bench with her, one arm around her waist, her leaning into me. 

"I love you too"

Rikki's P.O.V:

"Will you marry me?" My face went into shock mode but then a big silly grin appeared "Yes" i shouted a bit to loudly, earning weird looks from the other people on the ride, but i didnt care, i was getting engaged to the man i loved. He slid the ring on my finger, and i started to cry, god dammit tear ducts. I admired it more, and i saw that it had an infinity sign engraved into it. I cupped nathan's cheeks in my hand and kissed him, he kissed me back smiling into the kiss. I broke away and nathan sat next to me holding my waist. I closed my eyes and enjoyed the bliss that was now. "How did you know that my favourite ride of all time was the ferris wheel?" I asked. "Demi may have been my secret agent." he chuckled. I laughed at his joke and admired the ring a bit more. Once the ride was over, we went and got dinner at a little resteraunt. Once we were finished we took a stroll down the beach. 

"I love you nath" I rested my head in his neck " I love you too Rikki" he said wrapping his arm around me. I yawned rather loudly "Come on lets go home, its getting late" he suggested. "Carry me" i said cheekily smiling at him, not expecting him to pick me up. "Come on then" he said lifting me up bridal style. "Nath" i sqeel  wrapping my arms around his neck. I giggle and rest my head on his shoulder. We get to the car and he opens the door and places me in there. He reaches over me to clip me in. "You're perfect" He kissed my nose, i smiled and muttered "Thank you" before closing my eyes and drifting off to sleep. 

Nathan's P.O.V:

As Rikki drifted off to sleep i got out my phone and took a picture of her, putting it up on instagram, with the caption 'Future Mrs.Sykes' i publish it and start up the car. On the drive home nothing much happens. We reach the flat and Rikki slowly opens her eyes, yawning as she goes along. " I texted everyone telling them to be here, so we can announce it." I say unclipping. She nods and unclips. We both get out and i lock up, taking hold of Rikki's hand. "So how do you wanna tell them?" I ask "Maybe to beyonce" Rikki says. "Like we could do the whole rountine and then you shout Thats what i did" I laugh. "No, im not doing that." "Fine, lets just sit them down and tell them" she shrugs. 

Rikki's P.O.V: 

We head upstairs to tell everyone, hopefully this goes down well. I mean it should because they're not marrying him, i am. Well lets see how it goes...
