Today it was snowing out. The snow is probably one of my favorite things ever. Why? You can do so many things in and with it. Every time it snowed me and my brother would go sledding or build a snowman. Then when our fingers got numb and our faces were stiff we would go get hot chocolate. It was my favorite thing to do with him.

Everybody at this school still hates me except for the four people who are actually my friends. Tyler, Carter, Will, and Jake. Jake and Tyler are the people I mainly hang out with. Carter hasn't been talking to me much because he's been focused on some stupid app. I don't remember what it was called but he's in love with it.

Will on the other hand I still see normally. Him and Tyler started dating a while ago. They really hit it off. Him and Tyler always hang out together. I mean that is what boyfriend and girlfriends are supposed to do but when I want to see a movie with just Tyler it gets annoying.

I walk into school wearing a grey sweater, white jeans and a pair of grey ankle boots. My hair was in loose curls and I had on no makeup. I never wear makeup because it's just so bad for your skin.

When I walk in I get many weird looks. I have no idea what I did but it must have been something weird. I was walking to my locker when I see Nina standing there with three other girls. All girls from the dance team. This can't be good.

"Hello Rylyn." Nina says not at all happy to see me.

"Hi." I say and walk to my locker to open it up.

"So we heard someone else got a solo. Do you know who it is?" She asks me.

"No." Yes. It was me.

"Well if we find out you're lying expect a little surprise at competition tomorrow." She tells me. Her friends walk away laughing with her. Great. I'm going to get some sort of drink poured on me.

"Hello gorgeous." Someone says to me.

"Hey." I say and turn around smiling at them. It was Jake. Every morning he meets me at my locker and it's just nice to have him around no matter what mood I am in.

"Are you ready to leave in seventh period today?" He asks me. I shrug. Tomorrow was competition. Jake is driving behind the bus with Will as they both come to watch us. My mom will come down in the morning before competition because she doesn't want to have to pay for a hotel.

Dancers get a hotel room payed for by the hosts of the competition. We are sharing rooms with another person. Each room had two beds so each dancer would have a bed. In my case Tyler and I partnered up and shared a room so that Will and Jake can come and sleep in our room.

"It will be good, and you'll do amazing." He tells me. I smile and close my locker and we begin walking to our first class. "I'll see you at lunch." He says and gives me a hug. I hug him back and walk into class.

"Is that your boyfriend?" I hear someone ask. I turn around and find Carter sitting with Jesse and Georgia. The girls who hate me so much.

"Um...no he's not. He's just a friend." I say and start walking to my seat. When I pass Georgia to get to my seat she trips me. I fall onto my hands and knees dropping all of my things. Everyone laughs as I pick up my things. Usually when this happened Carter would stick up for me or help me pick my things up. Not this time. He laughs along with everyone else.

"Alright everyone settle down." Our teacher says when he walks in. My French teacher was Mr. Barnet. The thing about him is that he's really young. Around 28 maybe. A few years older then us. He was a very attractive teacher which makes all the girls want to take his class. Me on the other hand I just took this class for the easy a. "Today you all are going to write a paper." People groan.
