A Cinderella Story (Lucaya)

Chapter 2

Maya 

The last bell rang throughout the school as Maya, Riley, and Farkle walked out of their last class that they were in together. Maya checked her phone making sure she didn't get a message from her huckleberry, but instead she got a disappointed text message from her father. Maya shoved her phone back into her pocket instead which she will be calling her father later that she can't visit due to babysitting Shawn Jr. 

"Maya, everything alright?" He asked.

"My father text me, but I'm not going to text him back." I said.

"Why not?" She asked.

"I don't want to see the wicked witch from the west and the bimbo twins." I said.

They all started laughing when Maya opened the door to see Lucas and Zay playing catch in the middle of the parking lot. Maya started walking as Farkle and Riley started following behind her when a football landed in front of Maya's feet as Lucas had his hands wide open for her to throw the football back to them. Maya picked up the football as she tossed it, and Lucas caught the ball as she noticed he was smiling at her.

 "Thank you!" He shouted.

"Anytime!" I shouted back.

Maya and her friends walked into the parking lot where Maya parked her car next to a motorcycle which belong to Brandon, or simply known as Rebel. Rebel gave them a friendly wave before he took off on his bike in the parking lot, and Rebel was a bad boy even though some people are afraid of him he likes to have a bad reputation he was also somewhat friends with Maya.

"I can't believe Rebel rides a motorcycle." He said.

"Farkle, what do you expect? He's a bad boy, and he likes to keep that reputation at least we have a lot in common with him." I said.

"Like what?" She asked.

"Well he hates the popular crowd, and he doesn't care about them either." I said.

"She does have a point." He said.

Maya rolled her eyes as she got in the car when Riley decided to sit up front while Farkle sat in the backseat even though he sit in the front seat this morning. Maya got out of the school parking lot, and they decided to hang out at Topanga's after school where Maya's mother works plus Riley's mother also owns the place.

"So, have you heard about Lucas and Regina this morning?" She asked.

"What happened?" I asked.

"Lucas broke up with her, because she cheated on him with four different guys." She said.

"Wow! Like I care." I said sarcastically.

"I don't know who's worst the wannabe Olsen twins, or Regina?" He asked.

"Don't remind me." I said.

Maya arrived at Topanga's when she parked her car in the street, and they all go out of the car to see Kermit sitting in one of those chairs outside. Farkle and Riley decided to leave Maya alone with her father then Maya crossed her arms.

"What do you want dad?" I asked.

"Maya, I came to see you." He said.
