switch up

"Ian dude, I'm on my way. Can I borrow your penny boards" I said on my phone as I drove towards the nearest gas station.

"Sure dude see you in a few" he replied.

I hung up and sighed audibly looking down at the bouquet of flowers for y/n. I pulled up and saw Ian sitting in his old car. I smiled, gave him my keys to my jeep, he gave me the penny boards, and got into each other's car.

"Take good care of her" I chuckled.

He smiled and we both drove off. I pulled up into y/n's driveway and saw her standing there in a beanie, ripped jeans, and a flannel. I got out of the car wearing my maroon jacket and black pants.

"Ready baby?" I smiled.

She smiled back and walked over to the passengers seat. She got in and I cranked the radio driving towards the lake. When I pulled in the sun was setting lightly on the edge of the water. I grabbed the penny boards from the back and handed her one.

"What's this for?" She chuckled.

"You said you wanted something different, so Ian and I kind of switched lives" I replied smirking.

She set the board on the floor and immediately took off. I chased after her on my board flying past her.

"Hey!" She shouted.

I chuckled and stopped at the picnic I had set up for us by the lake. She stopped and slowly made her way to it.

"Oh Shawn this is beautiful" she smiled sitting down.

I smiled and opened up the basket picking out all the food for us. We dug in and talked about everything. There was never a dull moment when I'm with her.

"Y/n, I love you" I smiled.

"I love you more Shawn" she replied leaning into my shoulder.

"We should head out, it's getting late" she said standing up.

She picked up our penny boards and the basket and blanket walking towards the car. I grabbed some things from her so she didn't have to carry it all. When we got there I put the stuff in the back and she pushed me against the car pressing her lips on mine. She tugged at my pants as I slid my tongue inside her mouth. When she let go she left me speechless. She curled her pointer finger to come towards her so we could leave.

"Come on now, this night isn't over yet"
