A day after our one year anniversary, I decided to write a letter back to you.
Even though I realised that if I mailed it to your house you wouldn't get it until you got back, I still did it. Maybe to make me miss you less, I'm not sure.
Dear Benjamin,
I missed you a lot yesterday.
I hung out with Belle for most of the day. We went shopping, and had dinner together. Then we walked along the beach. It was nice.
But it would've been a lot better with you.
I haven't seen you for two days, and I already miss you so much.
I hope you did something nice with your parents yesterday. Also, I think I might call you tonight.
I just want to hear your voice.
Anyway, happy one year and a day, Benjamin Hanson.
Thank you for loving me unconditionally, for your forehead kisses, for your kisses in general. Thanks for rubbing my back and playing with my hair and cuddling with me. I love you for calling back when I hang up on you, for being my best friend, for our little play fights, for our picnics and, especially, for these letters you write me.
Thank you for loving me, Benjamin. Thank you for choosing me, over and over, every single day.
I love you.
Ellie.
