Dear Catherine,
How about some more letters, huh? Right? I'm nervously laughing right now, if you can't tell.
Please please please forgive me, but I have some very important business to attend to this month. There's something called NaNoWriMo where I have to write a...new novel for a month, so I'm afraid you might be stuck hanging around with Calum for a while...
I know you hate him, and yes, he's kinda the villain in a way, but I'm sure you two could find something in common-- he has...nails, and...flowers?
Flowers are nice!Okay, seriously though, from the bottom of my heart I am so sorry; in no way is your story any less special or important than my new one, I just need to show that I'm committed to something over a deal of time.
I feel super bad already, because I dedicate way more words and time to it than I do to you-- I'm, um, already only a thousand words behind yours (I'll stop taking about this now because it's clear this will only make you more upset).
I'm not leaving you to die out here; we just need to talk some things out. Make something happen in your story-- lots of things are happening, really, it's just...sometimes you kinda just sit around talking to a wall (that was too harsh, I'll admit it).
So I'm begging you, don't hate me, I'm not asking for love-- I mean, I am your creator and reason for life, but I also, erm...maybe sorta screwed up your entire life (sorry?). I'm a jerk, I get it.
I may not see you until December, or, heck, January (as I mentioned to Doom, Sherlock special, birthday, Christmas--wait uh never mind, Doom isn't anyone!), but I promise you that we will be back in business shortly.. Juuuuust as soon as I write and edit an entirely different novel.
Friends? (God, all my messages make me seem like a crazy sadist).
Wishing you luck (and happy reading, haha-- no?),
Jinx Everette (yes, it's me, Jenny, but Jinx is way cooler).
