Sorry I was at a friends house last night so I didn't write and I thought I was going to another friends place today but I guess she invited other people so lucky you ch.8 on the third day :*

My eyes flutter open and I take in my surroundings.
Skin.
More specifically, a chest .
His chest.

Cody.

His one leg is wrapped around mine and his hands are linked around my waist. His head is tilted into the crook of my neck and I can feel his even, deep breaths on my skin, leaving a tingling feeling.

I slightly tilt my head up and try not to wake him. I see his face, peaceful with a slight smile tingling at the corners of his lips.

I'm too tired and comfortable to move so I snuggle my head more into his chest and take in his sent. Peppermint.
I sigh wondering how this happened, but I strangely don't want to move.
I feel his hands slowly unclasp themselves and he gently runs his fingers through my hair. I move my face out of his chest and I am met with his beautiful sky, he lazily smiles at me and I do the same.
Them remember how I didn't go home last night and spring from his grasp onto my feet

"BENJI!"
"What? What's wrong? Are you okay?" Cody asked, worry in his eyes as he stands and puts a shirt on.
That's right. I look down and I'm still only in a bra and underwear. I quickly dive for my shirt and put it on as my skirt soon follows.
"Can you take me home? I need to see my brother" I ask
"Yeah yeah of course" he replied, I sense the slightest hint of sadness in his tone but decide it was nothing, just my hopes.

We walk outside side by side and he opens the car door open for me I smile bright and thank him.
Once he stars driving I began to think about how I'm feeling about Cody.
I think I like him.
But he reminds me of Liam and that scares me.
Doesn't matter that I like him, he would never go for me anyways, he just cuddled me to comfort me because I was crying like a baby.
Ugh I'm so stupid to even get I crush on him because now I'm going to be...crushed.

I am taken from my thoughts when Cody softly says "Mac?"
Mac? I like that. Aw he has a cute nickname for me *sigh*
I then realize that we have arrived and I quickly get out of the car
Don't want to waste his time anymore then I have, I think to myself.

When I get to the house I realize that Cody had followed me up. I turn around "yes?" He doesn't respond just talks one step forward so are faces are an inch apart and he, being taller then me, lightly kisses my forehead, I close my eyes and take in this moment
His minty sent
His warm radiant
Him.

When he pulls away I leave my eyes closed for a second after, the feeling of his lips still there, and slowly open them. He is looking down at me and just smiles "goodbye Mac" and hugs me.
My arms instantly wrap around his neck and his go to my waist, when he releases me I feel him put something in the back pocket of my skirt,
he smiles one last time and walks away to his car.
I raise my hand and wave to him as he pulls out of the driveway, still in a daze from what just happened I turn and walk in
"Benji?!" No answer
I go up the stairs to his room "Benji?" I knock on the door but before I can enter a mysterious person with a black mask grabs me.
I scream.
They put this cloth over my mouth and as soon As I smell it I know it is chloroform.

I see back.
