Chapter Two

Title: Nosey Mothers

A soft yawn escaped the new and improved hung over version of sleeping beauty, who at this moment was going back to slumber even though she had now awaken.

Angelina woke up, slighty sleepy, a new woman with a bad hang over but she guess drinking and headaches,with the slight feeling of lifelessness did come hand in hand.

"Look who finally decided to join the land of the living." Her mother joked

"Ma, What the hell are you doing here?" Angelina asked

"I should be the one asking, since you're the one crashing in my guest bedroom," her mother said " And please be quiet, Melody is sleeping"

Yes, her lovely daughter lived with her mother, while she sorted out the messy life she lived. Her mother was a blessing in disguise of a snarky, sarcastic and very blunt woman, but she had nothing short of love for the woman who raised and took in her daughter when she was in no condition to look after Melody.

"Sure," Angelina said, she pulled the comforter closer enjoying the warmth it brought.

"So are you ready to tell me why you are in my house," her mother said with a raised eyebrow.

"Maybe over coffee you gossip monger, but please let me sleep for a few more." Angelina whispered, sleep taking over her senses once more, leaving the gossip greedy woman to her own devices.

A few hours of sleep later and Angelina finally felt ready to face the world and by that she meant the woman she called mother.

Walking to the kitchen she heard the one voice that made her whole day and brought many joys with her.

"Grandma, when is mommy coming down?" Melody voice rang through the hallway.

"Mommy is already here darling" Angelina said, sneaking up on melody

She began to tickle her little doll, Angelina loved the sound of her daughter's laugh, it was her favorite sound in the world world, it made her feel hope that no matter what may come her way she could make it.

"Mama, stop...." Melody whined

"Okay sweetheart, now tell me what did you do today."

"Grandma and i went to the grocery while you slept," she said " and we got your favourite egg and bacon sandwich."

"Ohh darling you are such an angel" Angelina said

"Melody darling, would you do grandma a favor and go play in your room, your mom and i have to talk for a minute." Angelina's mom told melody

"Go on Melody, mama is gonna be a minute." Angelina reassured the child

Angelina watched Melody run off into the hallway that lead to her room before turning back to prepare for the   questions that were going to come her way.

"So.....?" Her mom placed the silent but deadly question out into the air, while serving her brunch.

Angelina though it funny, how it was like she was being fatten up for a sacrificial kill or something.

"I caught him cheating mom," Angelina sighed, taking a sip of the scolding hot coffee

"That bastard," her mother swore "i always knew he was bad for you."

"Not even the worst part mom, he cheated on me with kiera" she yawned again "My own best friend,"

" i knew she was a tramp all the time, Alexis." Her mom said

"Mom..., please i hate Alexis don't call me that, it's Angelina."

"That's your second name girl, i named you Alexis." Her mother grumbled.

"I know, i know" she said
