New Book
When Alexis met Nicholas

CHAPTER ONE
Title: Alexis meets Sofia

It was a little over three in the morning when Alexis was driving  through the quiet streets of london.

She yawned and drank the rest of the coffee she made in her office before taking the wheel, it had been three long years since spain happened and three happy years it she had anything to say about it.

She was free from everything even the sadness of losing melody, yes it took time to recuperate and to heal, but it was well worth it. Nothing could explain the joy she felt now and all she sometimes craved was someone to share it with.

Alexis remembered the day she landed in italy via the private plane and suddenly felt to book a ticket to london, it was the best thing she ever done with her life and three years later at twenty eight she had no regrets.

She was finally off the main road and going towards her home in the more residential area when she saw a figure on the top of the pemberton bridge looking to jump, by the look of it, the shadow was that of a woman.

Alexis had to do something, It wasn't her business but some people did not have the strenght she possessed to get over sadness like she did. She nearly drove off to her house when a sudden guilt passed over her, parking the car she walked over to where the lady was standing.

"Hello, lady" she said walking closer to make sure the woman was not harmed in anyway.

"Just leave me alone," she heard a gentle voice filled with grief respond

"I am sorry but no can do lady," Alexis answered while making sure the woman did not notice her decreasing the distant between them.

"Why? Can't you just leave me to die" Alexis laughed loudly at the woman's plea and the lady turned back at her with a scowl on her face.

"Why are you laughing?" The woman questioned curiously staring at Alexis the scowl still plastered there.

"Well you remind me of myself three years ago and to think i looked so pathetic to the rest of the world is funny" Alexis told her "i am Alexis by the way."

"You tried to kill yourself?" The woman asked.

"Yes, many times believe me and it did not turn out just how i planned," Alexis smiled at those very memories that made her the woman she was today.

"What if i carry you to my house and you think this over, maybe if you still want to die, i promise not to interfere again." Alexis tried to reason with the lady standing on the ledge of the bridge.

"That sounds nice Alexis," the lady sniffled "my name is Sofia"
