Becoming His Mate.

Chapter 2.

Faith's POV

I was walking to class and felt an odd feeling. Like a weird scratching at my chest. Yeah I know it sounds weird. I felt eyes watching my movements. I looked up and saw Kai. I smiled at him and kept walking. I have never talked to Kai before. He is never anywhere I am.  I looked back again and his eyes were still on me. They were shining with an odd yellow.

It was last period, and I sat in class waiting for the bell to ring. A piece of paper landed on my desk, and I looked around. Aiden winked and me and nodded his head to say go on. I opened the paper and read it.

Let me take you out after school. <3

I sighed loudly and nodded a yes. He fist pumped and got a couple of awkward stares. I don't know why I said yes. I'll just see where all of this goes. I looked over at Aiden, and he winked at me. I smiled stiffly and looked at the clock. Five more dreadful minutes. The bell rang, and I gathered my stuff. I walked to my locker and saw Jane.

"Hey!" She was her usual giddy self.

"Hey! So I'm just going to have to meet you at the mall."

"Why?" She dragged out the 'y' and pouted.

"Because Aiden wants to take me out." I muttered dryly as she squealed.

"Why did you say yes?" She mused.

"I have no idea. I regret it."

"Well I mean, Aiden is cute. Just see how it goes. Aiden has a very nice body and face." As soon as she said that Emmitt walked by. He glared at her and kept walking. I laughed and she sighed.

"Well I have to go now... I have to go get my man back." She whispered at me and started to run after him."Babe come back! I love you!" She looked back at me and winked.

I shook my head while laughing and walked to my locker. Aiden was against it looking for me. As soon as his eyes met mine he smiled. He kicked himself off my locker and walked towards me. He embraced me in his arms. I pulled back quickly setting some distamce between us.

"You ready to go?" He gestured at the door. I followed him once he started to walk. We stopped at his car.

"So where are we going?" I asked him as I hopped into the passenger seat.

"Well I'm starving, so I thought i would take you out to eat first. Then, we will go where ever you feel like after that." He smiled at me and cranked up the truck.

"I like the sound of that plan." I smiled and let him drive me where ever. He grabbed my hand, and I quickly pulled it back to my side.

"Hey calm down. I just want to hold your hand." He smiled and glanced at me once. I scoffed and looked out the window. After a while of driving he stopped at a buffet. "I hope you are hungry and ready to chow down." Right after he said that my stomach growled. We laughed together, and he took my hand again. I ignored the gesture as the smell of food fogged my brain. He pulled us to inside the buffet and paid for us to eat. I didn't want to look like a pig, but well... fuck it. I'm hungry. After pilling my plate high I found us a place to sit. He came shortly after, and his plate made mine look like it was for a baby.

"Dang boy!" I covered my mouth and giggled.

"Aye what can I say I'm hungry." He started to dive into his plate, and so did I. About 30 minutes later we were both done. We had little chats inbetween eating, and I learned quite a few thing about him.

"So where to now?" He reached to put his arm over my shoulder, but I shuffled my feet quickly to get away. He looked at me warily and walked back to his truck.

"Well I'm supposed to meet my friend at the mall. You can come along if you want." I said casually.

"Sure, I wouldn't mind spending more time with you." I turned to look out the window. Such a player. We drove to the mall the same way before. With him trying to grab my hand, and me calmly resisting.
