Chapter 8.

Kai's POV

Her lips feel amazing on mine. My teeth slightly graze her bottom lip nibbling a bit earning a gasp in return. My tongue continues rolling over the coolness of her piercing, and I melt right there on the spot. This is way better than I could have imagined. She pulls back slowly looking at me with yellow in her eyes. But, under that yellow is mixed emotions of scared and nervous.

"Kai, this is all so much to take in right now, and I just want to make sure I'm ready." Her voice sounds fragile, and her eyes look big and innocent. I grab her chin in between my index finger and thumb tilting her head towards mine.

"I know about Shawn, Faith." She holds my stare wide eyed shifting her eyes back and forth between mine. " I would never hurt you like that. He's lucky I wasn't there when it happened. You mean to much to me to let a little thing like that ruin our relationship. Which reminds me. Will you be my girlfriend." She smiles at all of my words and wraps her arms tightly around my neck. I grab her waist pulling her close to me. I feel little tears drop on my back, and I pull back to wipe her tears away.

"Yes! I would love to be your girlfriend, but I'm scared. I'm not scared that you would hurt me or anything like that. Its just that the first time we touched, the first time e talked, the first time I saw you I knew something was there. I'm scared of the feeling I have and how strong they are." She finishes warily. I smile at her a smile that say she is the most fascinating thing in the world. She plays with her fingers nervously while looking at her feet.

"The feelings we have for each other give us an amazing bond. Don't worry, I'll answer every question you have." I smiled pecking her cheek.

"That's good because I have a-" Faith started her sentence only to be cut off by someone coming in the room.

"Alpha Kai you are needed now!" My beta Kriztian rushed out. He stood there looking back and forth between Faith and I with impatient eyes.

"What is it?" I asked a little annoyed letting go of Faith.

"Rogues."

Faith's POV

Before I knew it Kai was pushing me out the door and getting someone to take me home. I looked around to see what looked like warriors change forms into their wolves. Kai nodded at the person escorting me and shifted to. A hand went over my eyes and an arm went around my waist. I kicked a little struggling to get free. A slight whimper left my lips before everything went black.

"Faith! Faith!" I heard a faint voice call me in the black. My eyes slowly cracked open only to be met with a blurry figure.

"Faith! Oh thank God you're up." Jane's voice flooded my ears. Her image came clear before my eyes, and I looked around the room. My room.

"What is going on." I said slowly propping up on my bed.

"Well Kai told you he was a werewolf, some rogues came and attacked his pack, and he had to get you out of there." She said casually flipping through the pages of a magazine. I looked at her with a bewildered expression.

"You know Kai us a werewolf? Also, why did everything go blank." I asked on the verge of losing my sanity.

"I am a werewolf too. I'm also in his pack, but about the whole 'everything going black' I think you fainted." She glanced at me them continued to look at the papers. "Oh those shoes are cute!" She gasped ignoring the bumping of me repeatedly banging my head on my head board. "You shouldn't do that." She sang.

"I shouldn't do what! Freak out! Lose my mind! Because, that is exactly what I'm doing!!" I shouted with my arms waving wildly.

"Oh its alright. Don't freak out to much. I don't want anything to happen to our friendship, but I have some crazy news." She said throwing the magazine.
