No one's POV
Chris pushed Royalty's stroller as Rita walked beside him. Chris looked at Rita then out at the trail they were walking on. "Chris, I'm sorry." Rita said. Chris smiled.
"Do you know why I brought you ouy here?"
"No, and quite frankly,I don’t kow why. Its fucking cold."
"Here you go again with you're big ass words. Wtf is frankly? And most important, who the fuck came up with that word?" Rita laughed.
"Please tell me why you brought me here so we can hurry up and go back inside." Chris looked up at the sky. The clouds were gray. It was about to snow.
"I wanted to show you how of a good father I am."he said as Royalty called his name.
"Chris, you didn’t have to do that"
"I did. I wanted to show you that being a good father means a lot to me. I love Royalty."
"I'm sure she loves you too. "
"I just want to know, why you think I'm a bad father." Rita looked away. Then looked back at Chris. Chris was now getting Royalty out of her stroller.
"I don’t."
"You were thinking that."
"Chris, I'm sorry." Chris didn't look at Rita.
" sorry doesn't cut it. Sorry doesn't mean you didn't thank it. Rita I thought you were different. I thought that you would never judge. But you did. Do you think I should trust you again?"
" Chris, please I didn't mean it."
" people tend to say things they mean when they are drunk."
" Chris, Chris, please." Rita paused. Chris looked at her.
" if you didn't mean it, why would you say it?"
" I was drunk. I don't mean things I say when I'm drunk."
" so when you told me you love me, that was a lie?"
" I told you I love you?"
" No! I just I was just playing with you."
" Chris! Don't play like that. I know I used to get blackout drunk when I was younger."
" but seriously, Sacagawea, you really hurt me. If you hurt me you hurt royalty."
" yes, I know. I didn't want to hurt you or royalty."
" good, because I was really starting to like you."
" was?"
" oh snap, I mean I am starting to like it. A lot."
"Really, becaise I like you a lot. Too."
"I think this is the part where we kiss." Chris said. Rita smiled big.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, as long as you won't hurt me again."
"I promise." She said. They leaned towards each ther and kissed. They kissed until Royalty pushed Chris. Chris pulled away. Looked at Royalty and smiled.
"I think I love you." Rita said. Chris and Royalty stared at her.
“ What?”
“ Nothing. It was stupid.”
“ Nah, I heard y9u the first time. I cant say that yet, but I feel like We're getting close to that point. ”
“ I understand that. ”
“ alright, lets go inside. I feel like I'm going to get frostbite. ”
“ You should've asked to go out to eat. Its to cold to be walking through the park niggles.”
“ what the fuck is a niggles? I swear, I can't deal with ya Sacagawea ass. Come on." Chris said putting Royalty back in her stroller.
"She didnt get on the swings though!" Rita said.
Chris looked up at the sky. "It's snowing biihhh." Rita laughed before walking towards Chris.
This was just the beginning of this roller coaster.
