Chris POV
As I walked into the court, fans started to scream. I smiled and waved. There was music playing. It was Cut It by O.T Genasis. I started to dance and stopped with the folks. I heard some girls scream my name. "CHRIS BROWN IS IN THE BUILDING!" the announcer screamed over the intercom. I smiled. Then ran towards the crowd and touched some people's hands.
I was about to chill on the court when I noticed Rita in the crowd. I walked over to her. "Wassup?" I said. She smiled.
"Hey, I didn't know you were playing in this game." she said. Somebody was sitting beside her. But, they weren't there. It was just a jacket sitting there.
"Yeah. I decided I was playing at the last minute." Truth is, I only did this because Royalty was with her mother again. I was bored and I didn't want to be home all day by myself.
"I know. The people told me when i walked in. They was like, Oh Your boyfriend is playing today. He said he wanted to do it like last night. Luckily we needed a 10th person." I laughed.
"OH CHRIS BROWN FOUND HIS GIRL Y'ALL!" the announcer said. I turned. Fans started to take pictures. I turned back to Rita. She wasn't looking at me anymore. I sighed. I was about to leave when she stopped me.
"Chris." she said.
"Yeah." I turned to her.
"I want to drop the song today."
"This is basically the best and worst place to premiere a song."
"OK. But, i already gave the DJ the song."
Just then, our song started to play.I sighed. "Ladies and Gentleman, this is the new song by RIta Ora and Chris Brown. It's called body on me. Is it a Hit or Miss?" the announcer called out. People started dancing. I looked at Rita. She smiled. I smiled weakly and walked away. After the song ended, people started to cheer.
"HIT! HIT! HIT! HIT!" the fans screamed. I shook my head and started to practice shooting the ball.
They started to play music again. It was Antidote. Then people started to scream. Again. I turned to see what they were screaming about. Kevin Little Man Hart, was walking towards me.
"Chris Brown. I challenge you to a dance off."
"Oh is that right?" I said smiling.
"Yup. DJ PLAY SOMETHING ELSE!" he yelled. I laughed. They played $ave Dat Money by Lil Dicky. Kevin started to dance. I stared at him. He looked at me. "Chris, I bet you can't do it like me." he said doing the cabbage patch. I smiled as he kept dancing.
"No No No. Kev watch this." I started to hit the quan.
"I can do that." he mimicked me. I laughed as he danced. I just so happen to look up at Rita, She was laughing. I looked to her left and saw who was sitting next to her. It was Nia. Next to her was her other daughter. I don't know what her name is. But, why are they here. "What are quitting now Chris? You know you can't beat Chocolate Drop."
"Nigga. Don't make me do something to embarrass ya ass in front of ya kids and fiancé."
"DO IT LITTLE NIGGA." he said backing up.
"Aight." I did my little Michael Jackson impression. Then ended it with the spinning thing.
"That's some witchcraft shit." he said walking away. Everybody cheered. I stopped smiling. Rita saw me. I looked at Nia. She smirked. I shook my head and started to play the game.
After the game, I was walking to my car. Rita came up behind me.
"Chris."
"Rita don't talk to me."
"What's your problem?"
"What's my problem? You hung out with the one person I asked you, not told you, asked you not to hang out with."
"She's a nice person."
"I don't care how nice she is to you. But she can be a bitch to me."
"She's the mother of you're child."
I looked at her. "Rita, you just don't get it. It's just that she's a bitch, It's that I don't want to have to deal with you and her together. And if you break up with me, you are still going to go head and talk to her still. I don't like the fact that my life with my child and my love life has to mix like this. nevermind." I said walking away.
