After a while, it got pretty crowded at Ponyboy's house with me, Johnny, Two-bit, steve, Dally, pony boy, Sodapop, Darry, and Rubix and Claire, whom had stopped by to 'check on me' only to find me with brand new bruises, and everyone looking like a wreck. So Two-bit declared that he was heading home for the night, and Steve also went home. But before two-bit left, he asked Johnny if he wanted to come with, and Johnny just sort of nodded, no one even batted an eye, as if this was the usual. But they were kind enough to invite me along, since I guess me and Johnny........yeah, we got teased a lot, but it was all in good nature. So the three of us hopped into Two-bits rusty old car, and drove down to his place. It was a small one-story house, with peeling paint that looked like it had once been white. Though altogether it didn't look that bad. Small, cute, I liked it. I like small and cute things. They're just so, adorable! At the front door, we were greeted by Two-bit's mother, a short, kind lady who looked like she had been through many sleepless nights. She didn't look at all surprised at Johnny being there, but she was very kind and gracious to me. Thought when she asked if I would stay the night, I declined, I wanted to get back to my TARDIS to change clothes and shower and cover up my bruises with some foundation. What, can't an alien soldier girl wear a little makeup too? But the second I got into the house, I discovered another new thing about me. I had major OCD, and to put it frankly, the house was a mess. Clothes were strewn about everywhere, it didn't exactly smell the best, and there was more the one stain on the carpet, which was barely visible through all the junk on the floor. But Johnny and Two-bit didn't seem to mind, or notice really, they just went on into the living room, and sat down on the couch. Trying to hide my uncomfortableness, I joined them, opting to take the seat next to Johnny. We just made small talk for a while, mostly about the rumble, and how we totally beat the socs. At first I chatted away with them, but then I gradually became quieter and quieter. Until, they barely even noticed when I slipped away. Two-bits mother, Amanda, had left for work, apparently she worked the night shift at a bar or something. And also the day shift. I guess that explains the mess. Fortunately, it was a small house, so there wasn't too much cleaning to do. I started with picking up the dirty clothes, and moving them to the washing machine I had found underneath a pile of jeans. I arranged them by shirts, pants, and other. The groups then went into the machine one by one. While they washed, I sneakily check back in on the boys, they were asleep by now, sprawled out on the couch, good. They probably fell asleep talking. But I had no time for sleep I had work to do. The laundry wasn't done yet, so I dug around in the cabinets until I found some windex and dust cleaner things, whatever they're called. I felt a little guilty for just walking around their house going through everything, but it was for a good cause. The I went to work dusting and trying my best to get out the stains, but there wasn't much I could do, they were already ingrained in the carpet, and I had little to work with. But it would be enough, so I did the windows, making them as spotless and clear as I could. By then the laundry was done, and as I wasn't sure where to put it, I simply staked them neatly into little baskets that had been sitting unused by the dryer. Then I retrieved the chairs, which had been scattered around the house, and put them in a circle around the little dining table. I was feeling pretty good until I saw the dishes. I guess two-bit really never does clean. Oh well. The stack of dishes seemed a mile high, but with a lot of water and hard work, I managed to get tim dome, and set the table while I was at it. By then it was about 3:30 in the morning. But I wasn't tired, I had gotten plenty of sleep when I passed out after getting jumped. Okay, I had done the laundry, dusted, cleaned the windows, done the dishes, and set the table. Now I had to tackle the floor. Now that the clothes had been cleaned up, you could actually see the floor, and it was messy. There was dirt and twigs and leaves. Ew. I just don't understand how Two-bit could live in this. The vacuum that I found was old and barely working, so I went with a broom instead. I did my best to sweep the majority of dirt out the front door and into the lawn, but I didn't quite get all of it. I would need a vacuum for that. But I didn't have one, so I just had to suck it up and clean. By then the major stuff had been done, so I organized the fridge and some of the cabinets, and did another round of dusting. By then the house was looking a heck of a lot better, and it was 6:00. I could only afford another hour, I had to get back to my TARDIS to freshen up, and be ready by at least 9:00. So my last act of cleaning was taking out the trash, and that alone took up my available hour. So after leaving a little note on the table that read,
Left to go freshen up, see you later. :)

I headed out. I got to my TARDIS around 7:30, and promptly took a shower, washed my face, changed into a new outfit, brushes my teeth, put on just a little makeup, and finally looked at the mirror. I had taken my hair out of the braid and curled it, leaving in the blue strand, put on a red bandanna, not around my forehead, but going up two that the knot was seated atop my head. Then I had done a teensy bit of mascara and light blue eyeshadow to offset my eyes and my highlight, and I had swapped my old outfit for some distressed skinny jeans, a red flannel shirt tied around my waist, a new white tank top and another jean vest, and a little necklace of a dove. Oh, and I had made my lips just a shade more red. All together, I thought that I looked pretty snazzy. I hadn't taken as long as I had thought, so I contented myself with a quick little nap, leaving an alarm set to go off at 8:45.
