Happy reading!----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--After getting to the mall, Ammi sent me and Rehan inside. They said that they would look for parking. Ok. That's a little weird, but I will ignore it for now. We walk inside, and I immediately spot my favorite store: Charlotte Russe. I walk quickly to the front of the store. Before I can go inside, someone pulls my hand and I shriek. I turn around only to find Rehan holding my hand.
I glare at our hands and then at him. I look back down at our hands, then I glare at him again. He looks at me in confusion then lets my hand go, and scratches his neck.
And then I realize. He can hold my hand now. It was Halal and he could rightfully hold my hand. I turned super red at my blunder and hurriedly rushed my hand to grab his, so that he didn't get the wrong message. I gulped and intertwined my fingers in his, looking up at him and tightening my fingers around his. He looked at me for a moment, and then smiled and looked away, his cheeks tinging red.
When I saw him blushing, my face couldn't get any redder and my smile couldn't get any bigger. My heart was running a mile and shivers were jogging down my back.
He looks away and begins walking.

(Sorry people... but didn't wanna bore you with the shopping stuff.)
The whole family had joined us for a while, but then they said that they will be back in a few, so here me and Rehan were walking in silence. While walking, someone comes upto me and hugs me. I bend down to see.. Saeed! I smile and bend down to his level. He is sooo cute!! He used to be in the orphanage I visit sometimes to make sure the children are healthy. We were so close, then he got adopted. I felt disappointed and cried for a good half hour about not seeing him again. But I realized, he was going to be a part of a great family, with loving parents who were trying to have a child, but couldn't so they were looking for other options. The love they had for Saeed when I saw them visiting him, was clear as day and it didn't take me long to wipe my tears and smile for his sake.
"Aalu Aapi!!" He says cutely. Only the kids are allowed to call me that.
"I missed you Saeed! Did you?" I ask.
"I missed you too! A lot! I swear! You know I love you!" And then as if realizing what he said, he quickly slapped his mouth and shakes his head furiously. AWWWW... He was the "sadu"(arrogant) guy in our little family, but if you managed to get into his good books, he was such a delight, I wanted to keep him all to myself.
"Awww.... I love you too!" With that I give him a big hug, to which he responds to.
"Accha, where are your parents?" I ask
"There right there, they're buying some presents for me!" He is so happy! I feel so good for him. Mashallah. Inshallah, he will stay happy like this forever.I send a quick prayer to Allah SWT and smile at my little guy.
Suddenly his smile drops and he quietly asks me, "Alu, who is that?" He points towards Rehan and a smile takes place on my face. "Saee, this is Rehan Bhai. He is going to be my husband soon, will you say hi to him?" Saeed's face scrunches up and his eyes squint.
"So you're going to be like Mommy and Daddy, too? Is a little angel coming over to your house, too?" My jaw dropped, my body bursting with flames, my face must have looked like a tomato. As Saeed was still looking at Rehan, I kept my eyes on Saeed and didn't dare look at Rehan.
A few seconds passed by as I didn't say anything, my jaw still slack and my throat going dry. I closed my mouth to swallow, a gulp of air and the pill of embarrassment. My mouth opened and closed, repeatedly as I tried to respond to him. Then, I felt a figure bending down next to me.
My head snapped over to look at Rehan and I swallowed again, trying to realize what just happened. He looked over at my blazing face and smirked.
His left dimple showed and his lips crooked up as he stared at me for a good second, before he turned back to Saeed, grabbing his hand.
He smiled brightly at him and said, "Hey, Saeed! I'm Rehan, and no.. we don't have a little angel yet, but do you think you could do me and Alu a small favor?" My eyes widened at his term of endearment, and I almost choked on my saliva.
Saeed nodded and Rehan continued talking. "Will you pray that we also have a little angel? Can you pray that Bhai and Alu stay together, forever, like a happily ever after?" My heart broke out of its chest and my soul flew out of its cage at Rehan's heart melting words towards the child. My knees stumbled and I fought to not fall completely on to the floor.
His swoon worthy words had me captivated, as I stared at his face.
Ok, maybe the angel part was a little to early, we were not even completely done with the marriage festivities, yet! But I couldn't help but smile at the last part, saying a quick 'Ameen.'
I looked back at Saeed, now looking up at his side, where his parents were standing. Saeed, however, nodded seriously at Rehan, pushing his glasses up to his nose, looking all serious and quiet, and my heart awwwed at his sight. After talking for a few minutes with his parents and inviting them to the wedding, we bid our goodbyes to the beautiful family and continued shopping.

Spiritual"Behind my back." His eyes faltering a little, turned darker, yet he kept his stance strong and defensive. "I told you, I had no choice." Slowly, my words started coming back to me, my head starting to clear. "Oh no." I shook my head in warning...
