I learned 2 things about Cameron which shaped up his personality.

1. He was incredibly stubborn and would go through any means just for his work to get done.

2. He wasn't into religion. It was all logic for him.

The first thing kind of made me feel proud but then irritated at his so determined and ziddi behavior.

Likewhat?

And then the second made me feel even more ziddi then him and try to get him in the right path. He said he was a born Muslim. Religion should be a part of someone's life, whether they take it seriously or not and he had totally abandoned it.  So I decided to bring him his religion.

Today is gonna be a fresh start for all of us. I will get my husband back and fix a man who now has been closer to me than a best friend could have.

I go to Cameron's room and knock. No answer. I knock again before slowly entering the door. I almost want to laugh out loud at what I see. Cameron was sleeping in his bed, but that was not it.

He was snoring. Soft snores caused his hair to keep on falling back and dropping, constantly itching him as he tried to get some sleep. He tossed and turned and groaned until I walked over to him and quietly moved his hair away and ran my fingers through his dark, thick hair.

I turned around and was about to walk out of the room, when suddenly I was pulled back and rested on my knees with a low thud. Cameron grabbed my wrist and put it on his chest. My heart beat unevenly as I heard him mumble a few words. I tried to pull away but he tightened his grasp on my wrist and continued talking. I leaned closer to try to hear what he was saying and listened closely.

"N-no don't l-leave me. P-please." he struggled.

"Sarah, you can't l-leave m-me. I w-will come w-with you. P-please don't leave me alone." I took a deep breath and stretched even more to hear what he was saying.

" I will die w-without y-you. P-please." He suddenly left my wrist and started to squirm. He was gonna wake up any minute. Not wanting to have another awkward encounter, I quickly ran slash tiptoed out of the room, and into the kitchen.

What was that about?

And who is Sarah?

What is her relation with Cameron? Wife? Lover? Girlfriend? Who?

What happened to her?

Did she cheat on him? Is that why Cameron wants to help me? Because he knows the pain?

These questions ran into my mind as I prepared a quick omelette, with some toast, when I suddenly felt a presence. I turned around to see Cameron leaning on the counter-top, watching me. I suddenly became alert and straightened my dupatta and continued frying my omelette.

"Morning. How did you sleep?" I asked him a little too excitedly. His eyebrows rose as he smirked.

"Why? Since when did you start caring if I got a good night's sleep?" I blushed at his words and looked away.
