He was gone.

He had left over two hours and this is the thing that was passing through my mind; I was never going to see him again, well in human form, plus my eyesight sucks as it is. Leah's pacing the room as I finished putting on my death clothes which surprisingly Bella had helped me pick out a few days before hand.

As I made my way to the lounge, Leah started to growl, her wolf face was looking at me with a worried expression; I knew it was that because I wore the exact same look, I quickly turned the TV on to a music channel hoping the comforting sounds would calm me down.

"Leah, it's going to be ok" I soothed while stroking her fur, but I didn't know if I was saying it for her or for me.

A feeling in my chest makes me want to hide, but there was no way of hiding from a vampire, maybe I should sit on the lounge drinking some tea, I got up from the couch and made my way to the kitchen, pulling out a mug and popped the kettle on, as I waited for it to boil I shuffled over to the fridge taking out some milk, when my eye caught on a familiar looking bottle.

Yeah I didn't want tea anymore, if this is going to be my last time ever it's going to be drunk off wine, who cares about the glass when your drinking straight from the bottle.

"TO THE WINDOW, TO THE WALL" I sung in an annoying loud tone, half the bottle was already gone, and I was now currently on Esme's couch jumping up and down like a lunatic, suddenly a howl filled my ears, sending shivers down my spine, This is it.

This is it, I'm going to die but I'm am prepared, there are thing I will never do in life and I am ok with that, as long as the people I love are safe, I quickly scrambled to lower the volume, trying to collect my thoughts in the process, I took another drink hoping it would clear, then I noticed it was alcohol and it was most likely making it worse.

I diverted my attention to Leah, she will know exactly when he will come for me, my gut tells me that they will send Dimitri, they always send him to collect. Leah's fur raises along her back, a deep growl comes from her chest and that's when I know they have come.

"Come to join me?" I asked loudly as the front door swung open but no one was there, I crossed my legs as I sat on the lounge with 'crazy in love' playing in the background.

"I'm sorry dear, but I've come to take you" said a voice right beside me, I didn't flinch, and I almost expected this to happen.

"May I finish my drink? Who know when I'll get another one" I smiled peering over to him, it was deadest Dimitri. Blonde hair, deep red eyes and a smirk that would make me stop in my tracks.

He looked at the nearly empty bottle and shrugged "sure"

"Thanks... what's your name?" I asked curiously, looking back up at him, I hadn't realised I kept looking down at my beverage, guess that is what I truly desired at the moment; Alcohol.

"Dimitri" he answered, and it felt like my heart stopped, my he was fine.

"Nice to meet you.. I'm Sara" I introduced holding out my hand, he took it shaking it willingly, for a split second I thought he was going to break my arm.

"Keep drinking" he commanded, I obeyed putting the bottle to my lips and drinking the last bit.

I looked at Dimitri, he was staring at Leah who I had forgot was in the room, I looked over and she was in the same position, waiting for him to do something so she could break his neck.
