Chapter 10: Getting to know

Cassy's POV

Pagbaba namin ng kotse, pumasok na kami agad sa bahay. I looked for mom and dad para ipakilala si Nathan. Pinaupo ko muna si Nathan at Dess sa couch.

"Just sit down and relax, I'll just look for mom and dad" I said while smiling.

I went to the kitchen and there I saw mom and dad preparing our dinner.

"Mom, dad I'm home" I smiled at them and hugged them both.

"Hi hija, are they here already? " mom asked.

"Yes mom" I replied.

Nakatulala ako at nag iisip kung paano ko sasabihin na kami na ng crush ko.Inalis ko ang bara sa lalamunan ko at nagsalita.

"Mom, dad I have something to tell you" sabi ko habang nakayuko.

"What is it hija?" mom asked.

"Mom, remember my crush that I'm telling you last day?" sabi ko.

"Of course hija, why? He can't come? " mom asked me.

"No mom, he's my boyfriend now and he's here" sabi ko habang nakayuko at umiiyak.

Nagulat si mom and da. Hindi sila nakapagsalita kaya lalo akong naiyak.

"Mom, dad I know you're mad at me now. I'm sorry. I just love him so much so I said Yes immediately." sabi ko habang umiiyak.

Tumawa si mom and dad at lumapit sa akin. Niyakap nila ako ng mahigpit.

"Ang bilis talaga ng panahon, you're not daddy's girl anymore" dad said with teary eyes.

"Of course not that, I will always be your little girl no matter what" I replied.

"I can't believe this hija. Dalaga ka na talaga" sabi naman ni mom.

''You're not mad at me mom and dad?" I asked in disbelief.

"Of course not hija. Why should we? It's normal to have a boyfriend. You're at the right age now hija." mom replied.

"Where is he? We wanna meet him hija? " dad said while smiling.

Nathan's POV

Habang nakaupo ako sa living room nila Cassy. I'm looking at her childhood pictures na nakasabit sa wall. Wala ata siyang kapatid kasi puro pictures lang niya ang nakalagay sa sala at may malaki silang family portrait na nakasabit sa center ng living room.

Ang ganda ng mommy ni Cassy, kahawig ni Angelina Jolie and her dad is so manly, young and handsome he looks like Bradd Pitt. Kaya hindi na ako magtataka kung bakit sobrang ganda ni Cassy. And I saw a picture of coffee shop. Georg's Cafe I think they owned it. It's somewhere in Quezon City malapit lang sa condo ko.

Naputol ang pag-iisip ko ng may tumikhim sa likuran ko. It was Cassy with her mom and dad. Tumayo naman kami agad ni Dess para magbigay galang.

"Hi tito, Hi tita" bati ni Dess at nakipag beso-beso sa kanila.

"Good afternoon maam, sir. I am Nathan Cassy's boyfriend. Nice to meet you" sabi ko at nagmano.

"I like you young boy" sabi ni Mr. Bernz

" Thank you sir" sagot ko naman habang nakangiti.

Umupo na si Mr. Bernz sa living room kasama kami at si Cassy.

"You know what hijo, Cassy is our only child so please I'm begging you. Huwag na huwag mo siyang sasaktan" cassy's dad stated.

"Dad" protesta naman ni Cassy
