Wings of Fire- A New Generation

Chapter 7

Maleficent soared through the air, heading to no where. Her escape from Jade Mountain Academy made her feel something new. Perhaps it was freedom, or guilt, or suspicion. She didn't really feel guilty about leaving her pathetic family. Or attacking Pixel and Darkturner. But she was really suspicious about Stargazer. That look Stargazer gave her... It almost seemed as though... No. She couldn't be... And her sparkling silver scales by her eyes no one else had...

Maleficent shook the thought away. What she really needed to think about was what she was what she was going to do next.

The sun was setting in the mountains making the sky a vibrant orange and red color. Maleficent sighed.

Just then, she heard a 'Ba'. She looked down and saw a flock of sheep grazing on some grass. She hadn't felt so hungry before. She silently glided down to catch one.

Interesting, when they saw her, they didn't get scared. They just... stared at her.

She grabbed two, instantly killing both.

'That was... too easy.' She thought. But when she looked back, she saw the sheep just grazing on the grass once again, almost like they didn't care.

She settled down by some trees, put down the sheep, pulled down some sticks, and blew a plume of flame on them.

The cackle of the fire calmed her down, even after the events that had just happened.

'I wonder what Pixel and his gang are going to do now.' She thought. 'I wonder if they followed me... no, they couldn't have. I would've been long gone if they did.'

The sheep's bodies started to pop and sizzle, meaning they were done. Maleficent pulled them out.

They looked delicious.

When her family had got sheep, her favorite part were the legs, the most juiciest part.

'Home..... home.... I wonder what's happening.... I'll never be able to go there again...' These thoughts kept circling her head as if they were birds pecking at her head. 

She tried shaking the thoughts away while gobbling the sheep. 

After she was done with sheep, she tried to sleep, but new thoughts swarmed her head.     'Why were the sheep so calm...  where are Pixel and the others now.... what am i going to do next....'   

Suddenly, something snapped behind her.  Maleficent hurled her head at the direction of noise. 

"Who's there?" She called out.  Nothing.  "Probably just a bird." she whispered to her self.  She lay her head down, not very concerned.

But then, something, or someone grabbed her head, and started pulling her back-wards.
