CARTER:

I woke up in the woods again. I have no idea why or how I went into the forrest every night but it freaks me out. I made my way to the back of the house and searched for the hidden key my mom kept hiding in new places each day. That is one of the the things my mom did that I could not understand isn't a hidden key supposed to be under a fake rock on the doormat but no my mom kept hiding it in the strangest places. Like two meteres from the front door, in the garden, under the knome and under six centimetres of dirt. Or in the floorboards of the front porch. Today she had hidden it under a loose rooftile of billy my ex dog's old doghouse. Why could I not have normal parents. I swear she doesn't even know she does it! I made myself some cereal and ate on my way to the shower. Getting undressed as I made my way to the bathroom. Mom and dad had already left for work (some kind of green energie "save the trees" company they had started with some guy called Rogger Something.) It all sounded very boring to me and I had bigger things to worry about right now, like taking a shower with my mothers expensive handmade cucumber scented soap. I always thought that it was a stupid idea wasting money on expensive soap when you can just buy regular shower gel like normal people. But as I have stated before my parents are not normal. Today I was happy for the smell of clean, cool cucumber surrounding me as I scrubbed of the smell of woods and got lost in thought. All summer long I've been dreaming about the most beautiful girl ever and I have no idea who she is and where I might have seen her. But I know if she was even real she had to be the one for me. But ever since the sleepwalking started I dream of her every night so in a way I dont want it to stop or I'm afraid the dreams will also end. After showering I picked up my clothes and discarded of my cereal bowl in the kitchen. Slipping on my favourite pair of jeans that hung just right on my hips and a snug fitting T-shirt with a picture of a salt and a battery beating up a guy (I thaught it was sorta funny) the shirt emphasised the green of my eyes perfectly. I know I am good looking. I have dark brown hair, so dark it is almost black and emerald green eyes. I've played lacrosse since I can remember wich gives me an athletic build and I happen to be the captain of my team wich means pretty much everyone knows who I am. But to me I dont really care what I look like but Nicole (one of my best friends) would murder me if I turned up at school in my frumpy wear so I did my best to please her. I ran out of the house hoping to catch a coffee at Rick's on my way to school.
