By the next morning I had decided that I had an over active imagination and that I had dreamed the entire thing, and the earthy smell was only because I must have forgotten to close my window. I would have told my mom but I didn't want to bother her when she was already stressed about the move and her new job starting today. My mother used to be an accountant at some big company in New York but then one day I walked in on my dad fucking his blonde bombshell of an assistant on the kitchen counter. After that had a bit of a shitfit and moved us to a place she found by throwing a dart at a map. A map of the entire world! Luckily she aimed at the America part but still I could have ended up somewhere in Africa or Peru. Okay yea I want to visit there someday but no way am I moving to a place with no Starbucks or wi-fi. And that I how I got stuck in Scotsville, the smallest weirdest town on earth! As I made my way downstairs to eat breakfast with my mom I suddenly thought I saw a hand pressed against the window but when I looked again it was gone.
