Chapter 4

Its monday with me!! It's time for another update and I know some of you have been complaining that my chapters are too short so I will try my best to make them a little bit longer than usual. I saw her! I don't know how but I saw her, the girl of my dreams (literally.) She was even more beautiful than I ever imagined. I almost asked her if I knew her but of course I don't, I know everyone in our school and I would most definitely remembered a girl like that. She came in just as I was about to leave Ricks, I was joking around with Jess about the poor quality of the coffe lately when I saw I flash of red hair.

Then I saw her.

It was scary, how could I have dreamt of a girl that really exists but that I have never seen before? I caught myself staring just in time before I crossed the line between friendly interesting stranger to creepy stalker guy. And from the first time really laid eyes on her I knew I had to know who she is and where she came from.

That wish came true sooner than I expected. She was in all of my classes and in two of them she sat right infront of me. How am I ever going to concentrate on school ever again when she is here.

Her name is Mia Frazer. She moved here from New York with her mother over the summer and from what my spies have told me she is the shy quiet tipe and does not currently have a boyfriend. I will have to make my move soon or that will no longer be true. She has flaming red hair, eyes so blue that even the deepest ocean would be jealous and a skinny tall build that my best friend Sophie described as "willowy"

Usually I'm not that tipe of guy that pines after a girl. I just go for it and talk to the girl. I'm not shy I have tons of girls following me around only hoping for the chance to be my girlfriend (that is not me being a jerk it is just reality.) I am the captain of the lacrosse team for pete's sake. But ive never felt this way about any girl. Not even Amanda, the sexiest girl in school, yea she has a pretty face and an extremely flexible body but that is all she has going for her. No charm, no smarts nothing only the fact that she is easy (wich is what a lot of guys want, just not me.) Don't let people hear you say this too loudly it would ruin my reputation but I want more than just a pretty face.

MIA:

The mystery stranger is in my school. His name is Carter Peace (I know what a weirdass last name right) and he is way out of my league. He has every girl in school pining after him and yet he doesn't have a girlfriend. But for some reason there are NO rumours about him being gay (I guess he just doesn't date.) Today whrn I entered the school I was completely lost and had no idea where the office was so that I could go get my time table. Luckily I bumped into Carter (formerly known as the mystery stranger guy) he pointed out the office for me but had to leave for class and left me alone again.

Coincidently I was in that same class. Actually I was I all his classes so I got to study him without being too obvious. My "buddy beaver" as they called it who was supposed to show me around school was very helpful with my research.

"Hey Mia got a second I really need to talk to you. Its about your uhm... Research project" Ali (my Buddy beaver) chirped as I was standing in the row at lunch. "Oh come on this is more important than food! Follow me please." She almost shouted when I did not react quick enough for her, lightning isn't fast enough for her. She is a little fire cracker. She was my assigned "buddy" but she instantly became my friend. She has long black hair and dark brown eyes and apparently always dresses in black but that is all that is dark about her, she is a happy bubbling person that can light up any room with her smile.

"What" I moan. I haven't eaten anything today except a dry piece of toast this morning and I am getting grumpy. "Wait this has to be talked about in complete secrecy" she said a little bit too dramatically (wich I later on learned was her natural state.) She grabbed me by the arm and dragged me out of the cafeteria, leading me up about 20 flights pairs of steps (okay I am exaggerating a little) and down a few to. When she finally pulled out a rope ladder from seemingly nowhere out of the ceiling. To the unsuspecting eye it just looked like a piece of peeling wood stuck to the ceiling.

The ladder led to a miniature greenhouse that opened up to an even smaller piece of roof that overlooked the grounds with the trees stretching out for miles behind the hockey fields. It was one of the most beautiful things ive seen in a very long time. Ali, seemingly not bothered by the view, yelled with excitement "He was asking about you very secerative and James Bond like. He even had a guy find out your birthday!" Why would he want to know my bithday I thought that is a little random.

Ali must have seen the look of confusion on my face because she just simply stated like it was the most normal thing on earth that he might have to give me a present for my birthday now that he knew and then I would have to notice him and be nice."Because from what I've heard from Becca is that you have not been very nice to our project!) She said slapping me on the arm (since when is this OUR project) Does everyone know about this? Nothing has even happened I haven't said more the two words to him and suddenly we are the talk of the town. "I am not being mean I am studying him and I am the type of person who studies in a quiet environment. And I am a little scared to talk to him he is intimidating" I said in a moment of honesty. "Well looks like you're afraid of nothing. He is into you!"

Sorry bit of a useless chapter..there are going to be a few of these cheesy cliché chapters just so you can get to know the characters and all that. Atleast it was a nice and long chapter for once as a celebration for my vacation starting. Sorry if you might get a little bored in the next few chapters I promise it will get better! I've also decided to edit my whole book after I'm done because I believe it would be better to get the whole picture so sorry the chapters are unedited
