MIA:
I missed the bus! Great now what am I supposed to do? Walk? Mom is too busy to drive me to school. I've never walked to school before Erica's mom used to come pick me up everyday or at least those days dad had a "meeting" or ,as I later on learned, a fuck session with his secretary. But firstly I have to know where the school is and secondly I needed a cup of pure caffeine. I can not go a single day without coffee or my brain wil literally explode from overload. Luckily when I checked the map on my phone I saw there was a Rick's diner or something on my wsy to school. It was no Starbucks but it will have to do for now. Walking into the diner I caught the smell of waffles, pancakes, bacon and eggs making my already empty stomach grumble. Rick's was a quite small diner with a strange type of look. None of the furniture matched and there was a random birdcage hanging empty in the middle of the room. Yet somehow everything worked together perfectly, small things you would not notice on first glance like that one booth is the exact same colour as the lace print on this chair or that birdcage is from the same wood as the table in the corner. I walked up to the counter just as the guy paying was turning around. For a second I thought I recognised him but then I got lost in his smile (that souned cheesy but it was actually true.) He had that type of look that could melt even a nuns panties off. When I got to the counter I mumbled something about caffeine and turned around to find him checking over his shoulder, looking like he saw a ghost, but sadly he just turned away and left the diner before I could even manage a smile. I'm so stupid why did I not say anything? Why can my antisocial brain be excellent at math and science but the second I see any guy who is even remotely cute it shuts off. Completely blank! I took a sip ftom te takeout cup that Jess the waitress had handed me and I almost had a stroke right then and there. How could diner coffee taste this good? When I asked Jess about it she told me that her boss was crazy obsessive about the perfect cup of coffee and that he chooses every batch of beans by hand. No wonder the sexy guy with the green shirt came here for coffee. Actually now that it was n little later I could see the breakfast crowd stream in and I now see that they are actually crazy busy.
