Chapt. 8 let's film

CHAPTER 8

ALEX'S P.OV

Once i cleaned dan's room and he got the camera set up i was ready to film "what's your intro going to be?" shannon asked curiously i hadn't even thought of that " i don't know i'll just go with the flow" i said hesitantly. I sat in front of the camera and stared straight at it before dan started the count down "three...two....one..." he gave me the thumbs up to start speaking "hi guys what's the haps that was really chavesque but oh well today i am going to be filming a small little video for you and i have three very special people to join me i think there on there way" i said to the camera a burst of confidence surging through me "guy's jump in on the count of three one.. Two... Three" they all jumped onto the bed sending me flying "Oops are you ok?" phil said almost laughing "yeah i'm ok" i said rubbing my arm from the impact of them shoving into me " so today i am joined by..." i directed at the camera again "Danisnotonfire" dan stated "AmazingPhil" phil shouted gleefully "and shutupit'sshannon" shannon said proudly "right introductions out of the way what we doing today?" i asked them they just shrugged their shoulders and looked at one another "today we are playing a little game someone invented about a year and a half ago which became a huge craze throughout the youtubes and is now also an amazing app can you guess what it is?" i asked "the 7 second challenge" we all shouted oddly in unison "that's right" we played the app in party mode and we played 10 rounds of it in the end dan won with 8 points i came joint second with shannon and phil came last "i should be the winner since i invented the game" phil argued "what ever da- phil you aren't the winner i'm sorry" i said hugging him and hoping my slip up wasn't to noticeable i could just pass it off as if i was going to say dan yeah. Dan just started laughing and then sat on the butt chair by his piano he started to rock back and forth in it "dad do you really think that's a good idea since you have fallen out of it umpteen thousand times" i stated and low and behold he fell out of the chair we all burst out laughing including dan after he got over his initial shock. "you are literally the worst" dan laughed "are...are you alright danny" phil giggled "yes i am no thanks to you" he grumbled in return he stood up and brushed himself off " ok who wants to make pancakes?" dan practically screamed "dad it's like 6 p.m we cant have pancakes no" i laughed "oh" he sighed dismally "hey danny how about we... Order pizza" phil exclaimed causing dans smile to beam brightly "yesyesyesyesyesyes" he shouted like a little kid on christmas day . We all laughed at his immature behaviour "ok so i'm gonna go order the pizzas Alex sweety can you tidy your room and sort out your bed for shannon thank-you" phil said walking out of the room and kissing the top of my head "it's ok i don't need to stay honestly i don't want to overstay my welcome" shannon argued to which she got a 'it's no bother look from both phil and i. "look shannon i understand you feel like you are invading our house but please don't feel that way honestly you are no bother and it's nice for alex to have another girl around the house the closest person she has to a girl is zoe and she doesn't live close enough to us to be able to see her all the time" dan interjected she just simply nodded her head as a reply to say 'ok i understand'

We sat a the dinner table with the pizza once it had arrived i was sharing with shannon since both of us probably won't eat that much. I looked over at shannon taking small bites of the pizza slice she was about 2/3 of the way through the slice when she placed it back down on the plate i could see the worry forming in her eyes i turned to her and whispered in her ear "shannon.. You don't need t eat any more just keep that down and you should be fine but you have to eat later when i eat ok" she simply nodded her head "may i be excused?" she asked dan and phil politely to which dan responded " you don't have to ask but yes you may." he smiled at her she lifted her plate and took it to the kitchen i was feeling slightly bloated at this point so i put the rest of my pizza slice down and pushed the plate away leaning my head against the table and groaning "alex put your plate in the dish washer you spoon, you know where it is and also you need to take your meds as well" dan huffed "ok i grumbled i stood and put my plate in the dish washer after throwing my scraps in the bin. I grabbed my meds from the cabinet above the fridge i took two with a glass of water and returned the bottle back to the cabinet.

4 hours later

Me and shannon were just hanging out in my room when we heard dan called up to us from don the hall "coming" i shouted back we wondered down the hall to the kitchen and found pancakes on the side " these are for you two dan gave me and shannon a plate of pancakes to share there was about 4 on there "if either of you want more just ask and i'll make you some" dan smiled widely at us we walked into the lounge and sat at the dining table we both wanted lemon juice and sugar so we put it on the pancakes and dug in we surprisingly had two each however i was stuffed and i could see shannon was about to explode. I got up and put our plate away. I walked into my room and got out some pj's for shannon and grabbed dans totoro onsie i got changed and called out for shannon to come to my room after about a minute she entered my room i gave her the pyjamas and began to walk out of the door "alex?" shannon asked "yeah" i replied "where are you sleeping if i'm in here?" she queried "i sleep with dan in his bed because i get really horrid nightmares and stuff so it's safer to sleep with dan or phil if dan isn't here" i answered softly "oh ok well have a good sleep" she smiled to me "you too" i smiled back. I walked out of her room and down the hallway a little to dans room i walked in seeing dan on his laptop in the browsing position "hey" i said quietly "hi sweety get in and go to sleep" dan spoke to me softly, to which i complied and got into bed and drifted off into the black abyss of nothingness

I woke up in the middle of the night dan was asleep next to me i checked the time on my phone to see it was 4 am i heard a bang come from the kitchen down stairs it wasn't a loud bang but one that could be heard i decided i would investigate the mysterious bang so i got out of bed feeling the cold air of the night and slowly made my way to the kitchen preparing myself for anything when my mind started racing and i started thinking up silly scenarios like 'what if it's a lost cat' 'what if it's a stray badger' 'what if it's an a wildering murderer' the last one made my skin crawl and my blood run cold i tried to rid the thought out of my mind i got down the stars and peered round the corner of the hallway an what i saw shocked me it was.....
