Chapter 13

After Luna and Benny had been reunited, Luna went back home, alone. She told Benny that she wanted some alone time, he understood and went back to school. Good thing her parents were at work, or else they would kill Luna if they saw she wasn't at school. She went into her room and thought about the mysterious figure. She liked to think about him as her Phantom of the Opera. Only this wasn't an opera. It was more like the Phantom of Her Life, and she was Christine. So yes, she had feelings for this “Phantom” (that is what I will call him). She didn't even know what he looked like.

Luna flopped onto her bed and thought about he creature. He can still here him calling her, “Luna, Luna! Come back, Luna!” She could here him, but it was so far off and distant she didn't know if it would here her back. His voice haunted her. She tried to go to sleep, but all she could think about was the Phantom. She tossed and turned trying to take a little nap, but she couldn't.

When she finally decided that she couldn't go to sleep, it was 3:20. Rory came into her room first. He came in and jumped on her. “Luna! You're back! Where did you go?” Rory asked giving her a hug.

She hugged him back. “I'm really not sure where I was,” Luna told him.

“Oh, so you like passed out under a tree or something for three days?” Rory asked.

Luna gave him a weird look that said, “Really?”, but then she realized that he wasn't kidding. “Oh, um,” Luna said, “sure. Yeah, that's what happened.” Luna smiled.

“I do that all the time,” Rory told her giving her another hug. “I just missed you so much!” Rory then kissed her, in the brother/sister sort of way.

It lasted like a second. Luna looked at him with her eyes wide open. “Now that I know that you think about us 'together',” Luna stated backing away from Rory, “I don't really feel like giving you brother kisses anymore.”

Rory shrugged. “Okay,” Rory understood. “Are you coming to school tomorrow?”

“Of course,” Luna told him. With that, they had all gone to bed and went to school the next day. When Luna came back to school, no one even knew she was gone. It was like she had never left. The only ones who noticed (and cared) were Benny, Tara, Britt, and Ethan.

Luna was glad to be back, but from that day on she thought about the Phantom.
