Heart Vs. Mind: Colifer

Chapter 8: LA At Last.

Chime. Chime. Chime.

My alarm clock woke me up, I was exhausted and definitely not ready to wake up. I slipped my covers off of me and looked out the window. It was sunny. The weather was so much better in LA than Vancouver.

About 4 months ago I came home from the disastrous Ireland visit with Colin and his family. I moved back to LA, only about 10 minutes away from my mom. Life is great here. I closed up my Vancouver apartment. I star in a show called "Mama's Wish", and it is going pretty good. The weather is great, always sunny. I love being so close to my family; and as for the Once family? Every couple weeks Ginny, Josh and Oliver and I meet up, Lana and I occasionally talk, and sometimes Jared calls me for my motherly advice. (Even off the show, Jared and I developed a mother-son bond)  I have also moved on with a great guy named Ross. Most fans have forgotten about Colifer; nobody found out about Ireland but everyone can see how happy I am with my new guy. Fans from all of my past shows and my newest show all "ship it" with the occasional Morilla and Colifer mentions,

I have not talked to Colin since I stormed out of his house that night. He tried calling me 3 times the week after, but I never picked up. I didn't know what to say. I was ashamed of my actions, but I was falling in love with him. I'm just happy I got out of the situation before it got worse. Yes, I wondered what happened between Helen and Colin, but part of me was happy I never found out.

In an hour I had to go to set. Today was the 2nd episode of season 1. I didn't really know the cast well enough to say how I felt about them. Some seemed nice, but for some reason, I can't see me getting as close to them as I did with the Once family. Maybe it was because I had only known them for a few weeks, but it just didn't feel the same.

I was now in my bathroom brushing my teeth and getting dressed. I didn't mind how I looked going to set; hair and makeup crew would be waiting for me. I had a few minutes of spare time so I went on my phone. I scrolled through my feed and saw pictures of Ross and I; fan edits to be exact. I am so happy my fans love him as much as I do.  I couldn't wait to see him tonight. I was getting ready to leave when I heard someone knock on the door.

"That's weird", I mumbled to myself. I got up and looked through the window in the door.

Who was it? None other but Colin O' Donoghue.
