Just Keep Swimming - Rose

My body shakes as Harry and I inch nearer and nearer towards the pool full of sharks. We both have an oxygen tank and a wetsuit on. And I must say, Harry looks mighty fit in his.

We're at the edge of the pool now. I look behind me and the instructor is nodding his head at us, urging us to jump in.

"Jump on three?" Harry asks.

"Yea- wait," I say, wrapping myself around Harry.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm going to hold on to you, so that way we both go in no matter what."

"You think I would let you jump by yourself while I stay above the water to laugh at you?"

"I do think that."

"Smart girl."

"Okay, I'm ready."

"One, two, three!"

Harry and I jump, me still grabbing onto him for dear life. We sink lower and lower and I feel my feet touch multiple slimy things. I only open my eyes when Harry taps me on the shoulder. I unravel my arms and legs from his body and we hold hands instead. He takes the lead and I swim just behind him. Out of the corner of my eye, I see what looks like a humongous fish, but is actually a shark. I tug on Harry's hand, a signal for him to stop and turn around. I point in the direction of the shark and he grabs my waist as we watch it swim around the tank together. His touch gives me goosebumps. We swim a little bit farther, and soon enough there's sharks circling all around us. We stay close together to make sure neither of us touch them. After a while, I look over at Harry and he points to the surface. I nod my head in understanding and we begin making our way up. Once our heads come above water, we take the oxygen mask off and gasp for air.

"Well that was interesting," I say as we swim to the edge of the pool.

"Very."

I push myself up and out of the pool and the instructor hands Harry and I a towel. We walk over to our things, pick up our clothes, and walk into the tents to change. As I'm pulling off my wetsuit, I notice that there's a hole in the tent that leads to Harry's dressing room. I look through it and see him half-naked. He turns around and sees me looking right as he's about to pull the rest of the suit off. Harry just winks before proceeding to change. I take a deep breath and back away from the hole. I feel like my body is becoming numb. That only happens when I'm with Harry. Part of me thinks that I should tell him that, but another part of me doesn't want to get rejected. It would ruin everything if I told Harry that I might love him and he doesn't feel the same way. I can't lose him.

"Are you almost done?" I hear him say.

"Y-yeah."

"Are you alright in there?"

"I'm fine."

I quickly finish getting dressed before walking out of my tent where Harry is waiting for me. We begin making our way to the parking lot while Harry takes a look at his phone.

"Aw, crap," he says all of a sudden, stopping.

"Is everything okay?"

"No, I have to go, like right now."

"Go? Where?"

"There's a meeting at this hotel, and look, I'm sorry, but I really have to leave."

"What about me?"

"Can't you take a taxi or the bus or something?"

"I guess."

"I'm really sorry. It's super important that I don't miss this meeting."

"Whatever, just go."

With that, Harry takes off in his car, leaving me stranded in the parking lot to the aquarium. If he knew he had a meeting, why did we even come here in the first place? I would have understood if he had told me earlier, but it's just plain rude to take off like that. But then again, he has done so many amazing things for me. How could I stay mad? The answer, I can't.

I walk to the corner of the parking lot and wave my arms to call a cab. As it pulls up, I swear I hear a clicking sound, but when I turn around, nothing's there. It happens again as I open the door to the cab. I turn around again, but there's still nothing there. I shrug it off and slide into the backseat of the taxi.

The driver turns around and says, "My name's Rick. Where can I take you?"
