Seeing Snow in a different light (DT & the kids series)

Chapter 4

The next morning, David is shaken awake by a disturbed Matt. "What's wrong, mate? U seem upset!" David asks, placing a hand on Matt's cheek & calming him down. "I..it's Snow! She & Red Rose were collecting berries in the forest at dawn, when Prince Charming kidnapped her! Red Rose's distraught. The dwarves intend to hunt him down & rescue Snow!" Matt explains. "Well then, we're helping! Allonsy, Smithy!" David declares, jumping to his feet & rushing out the door. "Axes, check! Ponies, check..." the dwarves check off. "Begin Operation Save Snow!" David interrupts, drunk with determination. "Aye-aye, Cap'n! Let's roll, chaps! We'll follow u on foot & the kiddies will stay home to console Red Rose!" Matt agrees, matching David's determination. Soon, they're halfway to the prince's castle, on the brighter side of the dark forest. The dwarves overpower the guards. "Where is she, tin-man?!" David asks, pressing his axe against the guard's armour. "Getting prepped for their remarriage! Prince Charming never got over the lovely princess & he intends to forcefully make her his wife again...no matter what!" the guard replies, through gritted teeth. "Well, we intend to rescue her from that cheating scoundrel & reunite her with her true love, Red Rose!" Matt declares, bravely. The guard stares at him, disgusted by the idea of Snow White & Red Rose being lovers. "Get o'er it, u old-fashioned tin-man!" David cries out, before knocking him out. "That hurt!" David complains,desperately trying to shake off the pain. Matt clasps his hand, pulls it towards him & plants a kiss on his knuckles! David's taken aback. "I'm not even royalty ...what's with the hand-kissing?" he asks, in disbelief. "I do not know what came over me, mate!" Matt apologizes, hurriedly. "C'mon! We've broken down the door!" the dwarves interrupt, before they hurry inside.
