Seeing Snow in a different light (DT & the kids series)

Chapter 5

They find a grand celebration taking place in the ballroom. "Who dares disrupt our wedding?!" Prince Charming demands, haughtily. Matt spots a beautiful dolled-up, but trembling Snow White beside him. "Dwarves! U came to rescue me!" she cries out, happily. She tries to run towards them, but is stopped by Prince Charming who grasps her hand & doesn't let go. "U're hurting me...let go!" she screams at him. "No! U are my bride!" he refuses, stubbornly. Suddenly, he's struck by a dwarf. The evil prince falls down, lifeless, with an axe sticking out of his back. "Hurray!" the wedding guests (who're actually forest-folk & poor villagers who were forced to witness the wedding!) cheer. "We did it!" an excited Matt exclaims, before pulling David towards him by the back of his neck &...kissing him! A shocked David pulls back. Suddenly, a guard attacks Matt & David injures his shoulder fighting him off. Back home, a relieved Red Rose kisses a delightful Snow, while the dwarves & the kids treat David's shoulder with herbal medicine. "Get some food in 'im!" the dwarves order. David sits at the dining table & watches Matt hurrying about in the kitchen. He grabs a clean bowl,chops up & boils veggies & chicken & mixes all the ingredients in the bowl with salt & pepper. "Well, look at u in ur apron...or rather, Snow's apron!" David teases. "Taste this." Matt orders, scooping up some chicken salad with a spoon. David struggles to raise his hand, so Matt feeds him. "Mmm...bloody good!" David praises. Matt blushes & sits across the table, facing him. "About that French kiss we shared at the castle today, Dave....Ever since my last relationship with a lady failed, I...I've been experimenting, u know? I didn't mean to weird u out..." Matt apologizes. Before he can finish apologizing, David stands up, leans across the table...& plants a kiss on Matt's lips! Matt's stunned. "What was the result o' the experiment?" David asks, grinning. "As much as I'd like to leap at u & make out with u on the kitchen floor, I think I prefer kissing girls!" Matt replies. "Thanks for that image!" David mutters, sarcastically. "U're welcome!" Matt replies, jokingly, before they both break into chuckles.
