Sweet Catastrophe

Chapter 13

"What are you doing locked in your room, Jungkook? I thought I should find you with the Princess", said Min Suga, when he discovered the Golden Knight sleeping under his vanity. Jungkook didn't reply.

"Are you asleep?" he asked, bending down close to look at him.

"Why are you here?", Jungkook replied with intense eyes. His eyes had dark circles under them, but he was fully awake.

"______ had left the castle. I'm sure you're aware of this though. That's why you're in such a state. You look hideous." Min Suga grabbed his arm and pulled him up from under the vanity. "She looked very ill at Prince Jimin's castle. Won't you quit your sulking and come see her?"

"She's better off there. There's no reason for me to be there", he answered. He marched himself out to the porch. The air was brisk and cold due from last night's storm.

"You'll get sick", Suga said irritated. "What has gotten into you? Come inside and act like a man."

"Why are you here?" He asked him again. "You're the last person on this earth I have interest in."

Jungkook heard him moving about the room; every sound indicating impatience and irritation. The Wizard went into his bag and pulled out a letter. "The Princess is getting married. You are invited to attend the ceremony."

"M...Married?!" He turned around to face him. Suga threw the letter onto his bed. Picking it up, the Knight opened the invitation.

"The King has already agreed to the engagement. If you weren't sulking then you would have known sooner."

Jungkook saw the date of the wedding. It would be on the day of the blood moon. Something didn't seem right. Why so soon? Why like this, on this day?

"What are you planning?" He hissed.

Suga gave a light chuckle. "Planning? No I'm just watching. I'm more of a spectator. I'm not a fan of work."

Jungkook grabbed him by the shirt and slammed him against the door. "I've had enough of your attitude. Tell me what it is you're planning before I force it out of you."

"But aren't you forcing me now? Get off of me, kid." He pushed Jungkook away from him. Min Suga stared at him with all humour erased from his voice. "They call me The Sleeping Wizard. I specialize in the more supernatural works."

Jungkook blinked. "Supernatural?"

"Your past, present, and future are all known to me. There's nothing about you I don't already know."

"A kind of stalker?" Jungkook laughed in sarcastic amusement.

"More like a guardian."

"Of who?"

"______, of course."

Jungkook advanced towards him again; his hand on his neck. "You wanna die?"

"Everything that has happened up to this point is because of me. Jimin and ______'s engagement is because of me. I planed it. Don't you get it? I'm the reason why they're who they are now. I'm the reason they met. I'm the reason why she's neglected you. This isn't your story you're living in. It's mine."

"We'll see about that", Jungkook threatened as he left his room.
