Walking up the next morning was harder to do. Thoughts of yesterday swirled through your head like a bad headache. You didn't even know if you could talk to Jungkook the same as before. Things got out of hand, and it was your fault for letting it happen. You should've refused him. You should've said no. But you had loved him before, and with his confession, you couldn't help yourself.

You were invited into the Land of Darkness for supper. Prince Park Jimin and V had welcomed you warmly into their home. By far, their castle was much bigger than your own and furnished ostentatiously in marble and silver. Outside the castle was a rose maze and a swimming pool with floating lights.

"You have a beautiful home", you complimented in awe. "You are very fortunate."

"I believe a castle's state of being should reflect the stability of it's people." He passed you a glass of champagne. "Be honest. Have you seen any of the lower class sick or starving?"

You couldn't recall that in the slightest. Everyone looked healthy and well cared for. "You must work hard to make them happy."

He gave a small chuckle. "Well its impossible to keep everyone happy. But our spirit friend has taught me and our doctors a lot about medicine. We make our own herbal remedies and give free health care."

"How do you manage to make it free? That doesn't sound like good business."

"It is when the herbs are part of their taxes."

"I see." You took a large sip of the ivory beverage. You weren't an experienced drinker and tended to finish your glass before others. "So if your people turn out to be hungry or homeless, will your castle look equally as hideous?"

"Not as hideous as I would look." He walked you over to the large window that overlooked the rose maze. "What about you? Do your people feel as amazing as you look?"

You met his sly gaze and cunning smile. You couldn't help but returning that lively gaze. "There have been better days. Many people are without jobs. I've been hosting food pantries but it's not solving the problem."

Nodding his head, the Prince raised his glass, motioning to give a toast. "Well cheers, to hope."

"To hope."

With the clinging of the glass, V entered the room with his own glass of bubbly rose water. He didn't like alcohol much so he made his own drinks. Dressed in a grey suit and purple tie, the human spirit walked over to you and Jimin and pulled you both in a hug.

"Jimin's home is nice, right?" V grinned. "Snacks are in the dinning room already."

"You ate some, didn't you?", Jimin knowingly smiled.

"Yeah", he confessed amusingly. "They're really good. Everything is really fresh." He turned to you and pulled your hands towards the door. "Try some! You'll love it."

"Okay, okay! I'm coming", you laughed.

"That's what she said", Jimin smirked.

"Prince Jimin!" You couldn't hide that you thought that was funny.

V could only roam as a human in a room with a burning fireplace. As a human, he became mortal and could die by sickness or injuries. But in spirit form he couldn't be extinguished. However, he couldn't touch man-made objects; his body would go right through processed material unless he had processed it himself. Because of this, V had broken a few dishes when traveling through the castle.

Since you and Jimin could still see him, this didn't stop you all from conversing. Sweets and alcohol, the three of you laughed and got to catch up with one another at the dinner table.

Jimin dipped a strawberry in dark chocolate syrup. "So Princess, as I was saying--" he gave a chuckle in between pauses, "--Taehyung, I mean V, he saw a stray dog in town. And I had left him outside the florist to talk to the manager so I didn't pay him any mind. I come back outside and people are panicking because they see a dog floating in mid air!"

V started to laugh along, remembering what had happened. "I had picked up the dog. I forgot people couldn't see me." His wide, awkwardly cute grin gave you a shot of happiness. Vitamin V, you thought of it.

"And that's not the worst he's done", Jimin added, trying to control his amusement. "I get tourists trying to find the ghost that's been eatting the crops and playing with the animals."

You shook your head in disbelief. You remembered V to be carefree and friendly, but not absent minded. But you were relieved. Jimin being able to see V had proved the spirit's existence. V hasn't been so alone afterall because of Jimin. You were thankful for at least that.

"You know what would be fun?" The Prince inquired.

You and V looked at him. "What?"

"Making use of the pool in the back garden."

That sounded amazing, but there was one problem. "I didn't bring a bathing suit", you pouted.

"No problem. I'll have someone get one for you."

"Oh no, I couldn't have you do that!"

Jimin looked at you with that charming smirk again, heating up your face. "It's my treat. Think of it as repayment for your company."

You couldn't find the heart to refuse the offer.
