Entry #1:

Everyone loved The Princess. Her parents, King Stephen and Queen Erica were of the noble and loyal type. Princess ______ had grown up the same way. There was a kind of passion and infatuated attachment she had with an intangible person; imaginary friends the King had called it. But this friend of hers wasn't. He was intangible, but not many could see the apparition that the spirit was. I shared the joy she had with the spirit. It was my pride and delight to know that my spell had worked on the young Princess.

You see, I worked as a kind of Wizard for most of my life. I had always traveled since my way of living was different from common folk, so I would wander back and forth between the lands of light and dark. I had thought to myself one day, "maybe if a nobleman had the gifts I had, the world would be different." And then it dawned on me...

I planted a life long spell on two newborn children: a prince in The Land of Darkness, and a princess in The Land of Light. And after doing so, I watched them grow up and interact with the world beyond the veil hoping that they would meet one another.

I thought of them both as mine -- mine to protect, love, and cherish. They were now freaks like me with gifts I have given them. One has the gift of enchantment while the other has the gift of persuasion. I forgot whom has which ability, but I feel I will realize it the more I watch them.

One day the princess had wandered into the poppy field where I used to live at the time. She had picked over a hundred poppy to bring back to her home. They were my flowers, and I was greatly irritated to see my garden of poppy ruined by one child. But this child had presented them to me as a gift, and I, in all seriousness, interpreted the gesture as destiny. Me and her were finally face to face.

"These flowers are yours, right?" She asked innocently.

"You brat", I scolded. "Has no one ever taught you to not take things that don't belong to you?"

Her big eyes looked at mine passionately. "I am a princess! Everything belongs to me. Besides, V told me that you were going to pick the flowers today, so here!" She threw the flowers at my feet and yelled "You're welcome!" in a sarcastic manner.

I couldn't help but laugh. No word, no expression could describe the kind of relationship in which I had with her. I was her guardian, and till death she was to be my responsibility.

Prince Jimin and I share a different kind of relationship. I had worked as a herbalist in The Land of Darkness and often made visits with Jimin's parents on medical updates. I need not say we were strangers to one another (like with _____ and I). Our interests grew us closer together.

The Prince was calmer and more concentrated than The Princess was, but ______ was more capable of more intense application. But this was only to things she liked. You couldn't force ______ to do anything she didn't want to do. But both Jimin and her had a thirst for knowledge. She busied herself with herbal medicine and nature as he found a talent of paying special attention to the detail of things. Jimin kept several journals of the types of spirits he saw, what they did, how they eat, sleep, breathe, and sound. The world was to them, a secret which they desired to know. Curiosity, eager to research the laws of nature, were in them since birth.
