Hello everyone, and WELCOME TO FLIP SIDE!! :D

It's really strange to have the Pixel series ending after this entire nearly year and a half of it going from a small idea of "oh, this could work I guess" to a largely successful trilogy with a plot more complicated than I ever could've imagined when I wrote the prologue of the first book. The Pixel series is my pride and joy as a writer, and to have the epilogue of Virus going up today... I'm maybe a little emotional. Just a little.

But as the Pixel era comes to a close, a new time begins! c:

Honestly, Flip Side wasn't even going to become a full fanfiction. Maybe a short one-shot at best. It actually started as a scramble of random thoughts on a possible Cube 'fic that was jumbled into a bunch of text on the notes app on my phone. And I didn't even remember it was there until a month or two ago, when I was clearing out the notes and found it among a bunch of other useless crap I had completely forgotten until recently.

It basically escalated from there, to the point where I was literally having dreams about what could happen in a story like this. I think that's kind of the point where you tell yourself, "Alright, I probably need to write this."

And a few weeks of jumbled planning and confusing ideas later, this is what I've come up with.

I really hope you guys will enjoy this story. It'll mix the recent Cube drama (concerning the guys only being in it for money and all), nostalgia and some old, familiar faces (that I know you veterans like me that have been around a while will appreciate c; ), as well as an AU. Yes, I said AU. In fact, almost the entire plot of Flip Side is centered around an Alternate Reality, and I don't know if that's concerning or really awesome--you tell me.

The two characters who will be having POVs are Graser and Will, though Graser gets a good majority of the chapters. They will be the two main characters, with Graser being the main main character, but Stacy, Bayani, and surprisingly, Tomahawk and Devon will have some fairly large roles, as well. But don't worry--there's a good, diverse cast list for this one, just like the Pixel trilogy. As usual, I couldn't include everyone, but I feel like my plotting covers a good deal of ground.

So tell me what you think so far, guys. The cover, the synopsis, the title; what are your opinions at this point? Are you excited, scared, concerned, bored? Are you still interested in reading my next story, or was Virus the end for you? As usual, feedback is greatly appreciated, especially on a fairly ambitious venture such as this.

For now, we'll be sticking to our once-a-week Thursday updating schedule. And since I posted Virus's epilogue today, as well, you won't be getting Flip Side's prologue until next week, so you'll just have to wait in suspense for seven more days. I hope that's not too long ;)
