Along the coasts of Dredton, amidst all the hustle and bustle of city life, there's a small apartment complex overlooking the beach. Nothing eye catching or unique about it, just a building shining with a brilliant color of crimson red, standing 3 stories tall and surrounded by small shops and empty roads.

Inside this complex, there are 18 rooms, 6 on each floor, climb to the top of it and look for the room in the end and you will find a door, decorated in nothingness, in comparison to every other tenant in the complex, it shows nothing unique, nothing attractive.

This is where I live.

A 17 year old freshman attending the local Brimstone College of Dredton. I am but a normal guy, with few friends and weird interests. Nothing out of the ordinary, yet nothing extraordinary too. I live alone as I had moved out of my parents' home this year to pursue my college degree as a Game Designer. But truth be told, I failed my first few choices of colleges and ended up here, unknowingly to my parents or anyone for the matter of fact. A struggling student in an Economics course, something to pass on just to say I am doing something for my life.

Classes starts in 2 weeks, I arrived early to settle in and get use to life being alone here as fast as I could. Nothing to do in my daily life but watch anime or play video games, but contrary to that, I am an outgoing person who loves mountain hiking and can also parkour a bit.

The alarm clock on the dinner table rings for a brief moment and stops, it is now 10 am.

"It's been 3 hours already huh?" I woke up earlier than expected due to the uneasiness I have been feeling for some reason.

"I guess I'll go out and explore the area abit."

I put on my earphones and grab my
car keys and proceed to head out.

Me, being the introverted person I am didn't bother to pay attention to my surroundings as I walk along the hallway towards the stairs as my consciousness slowly gets drifted away by the music I have been listening to and I bump in to a stranger living in my apartment complex.

"Oh.... uhm... I'm sorry, I didn't notice you..." I kept my head low, not wanting to attract much attention from her as I take off my earphones to be polite at least.

"No, no, it's alright, I wasn't looking either."

I hear her sweet voice echo through the hallway as she speaks in a very calm manner.

And with that conversation, 5 and a half years of feelings will begin to circulate amongst both of us.
