Boston

Sam ran behind Julie and Kaitlyn. The rain pouring onto their faces,completely soaked. Max running close behind Sam. Lucas,who was ahead of them all, turned around and the fire one or two shots. Sam could hear Max cussing under his breath. "Shit! Shit! Shit!". Then turned back to shoot. Sam did the same. "Come on you two!" Lucas said running past them. Max turned around and began running. Sam turned around and began to run,but stopped when a tight grip wrapped around her arm.

"AHHH!!!" Sam sprung up in her bed,covered in sweat and breathing heavy. While during this she woke up Max,who slept on the floor next to her. By now Sam was fully awake with tears dripping onto her legs. Max came close to her and sat next to her "Hey,are you alright?". Sam looked at him and shook her head. "No..I had a bad dream..". She glanced at him then away. He pulled his arm around her and pulled them close. "I'm here now." He tries to hide his red cheeks. She lightly smiles and wipes a tear off her cheek. "Max..Would you mind sleeping with me?" Sam blushes and looks away. Max's face becomes completely red and he nods. "Y-yeah,sure...". He unwraps his arm and lies down. Samantha wipes her eyes once more,then lays down. Max slowly drifts back to sleep,while Sam stays asleep a little longer. She smiles at him and buries her face in his chest. He wraps his arms around her once more and holds her close. Sam smiles to herself then drifts to sleep.

"RAISE AND SHINE KIDS!" Geoff yells,bursting through the door. He smiles at the sight of his son,holding Samantha close. Gavin comes in after him,chuckling to himself. "Looks like Max has got himself a girlfriend.",while saying that Geoff intertwines their fingers. He leans down and gives him a peck on the cheek. "Wait here a second." Geoff says before turning around and looking through his bag. Coming back with a camera ,he leans over them and laughs. He snaps a photo, forgetting the flash. Max throws his arm up,pushing the camera away as his eyes flutter open. Geoff laughs "Morning sleepy head.". Max turns back,beginning to slightly wake up Sam. Max looks down at Sam and blushes. Sam sees Max's father and blushes. Geoff looks at them then Gavin. "We'll be in Boston soon,get dressed and come in the front." Geoff messes up his son's hair as he walks away with Gavin. Max looks back at Samantha and blushes "I-I'm sorry about him.." he stutter. She shakes her head "It's fine. My dad would've done the same thing....hopefully." They both laugh and little and walk out. Julie sits in the seat besides Lucas,talking into her walkie-talkie. Tyler could be heard on the other line. "How much longer Ty?"

"30 minutes.. just about. You guys alright back there? No walkers?"

"Yeah,we're fine. What about you guys,everything alright up ahead?"

"Yeah,zero zombies so far. "

((AN: Julie's name is now Matthew)) Matt nods. "Alright,see ya soon dude,stay safe.". He places his walkie-talkie down and looks ahead of him. Maria overhears and turns back and tells everyone "We're almost there." She smiles and turns back,watching the road go under them.

"Matthew?" Matt looks over to Lucas

"Yeah?"

"Do you think Boston will be safe? For everyone? I mean,we have a big group."

He nods "Of course. I wouldn't risk all of our safety for this one thing." Lucas nods. "Thanks" he smiles. Matt looks ahead of them. Being his usual silent self.

-2 hours-

Lucas drove behind the bus looking around the abandoned city. "God,what the hell happened here?" He spoke up and looked over to Matthew. He shrugged. "Riot must've happened. Or the military have horrible aim and shot everything." Maria shakes her head in disgust. "Both of you,stop. Just be happy we made it here,together." Matthew sighed. The RV drove down the highway,cars scattered like a child's toys. The RV turned,trying not to hit anything.
