Noises in the Night

Zach's P.O.V

Kaitlyn sat in the car staring out the window. "Why are we out here again?" She asked very annoyed. I glanced out my window  "Julie told us to keep a eye out for those click things,or whatever she called them. And we gotta get that ammo." Kaitlyn sighed. 'BANG' Kaitlyn jumped lightly "What the hell was that?!" I exited the car with Julie's machete (I swear I'm gonna see Zulie fan fic). We looked out into the parking lot and saw two people running out of the mall. "Shit,we gotta go" I said walking backward to my door. Kaitlyn stopped me. "I think that's Jack and Nicole" "What?! No it can't be!" I looked back and saw a boy with short brown hair and a blonde girl with a plaid shirt. "Holy shit, it is! JACK! NICOLE! OVER HERE!" I yelled. They looked over to us and booked it toward us. Once they got to us the had a trail of zombies and clickers following them. "Get in!" I yelled running over to my side and starting up the car. Kaitlyn rolled down the trunks window and began shooting,hitting zombies in the heart. Jack and Nicole did the same. After a couple shots,and me hitting the gas. The zombies lost interest. "Are either of you guys bit?" Kaitlyn said pointing her gun to them. "No, I swear!" Jack said holding his hands up. "What about you,Nicole?" "No." Nicole stared out the window.  When we got to Leah's house Julie was holding her gun in hand when we pulled up the driveway. "Who the hell ar- Jack?!" Julie held her gun down and walked toward us. "Hey lover boy, hand over the machete." Julie ordered holding her hand out. I pulled it out from backpack and handed it to her as I walked by. "Here. And don't call me that!" I yelled walking into the house. Charlie and Alex were on the couch. I heard Alex mumble something to Charlie "They're back babe" BABE?! What the hell? "Hey guys" I said. They both flinched and Alex unwrapped his arm from Charlie's shoulder. I noticed Charlie's cheeks were slightly flushed. Alex turned around and smiled "Hey man" I sighed and made my way outside. Julie was being followed by Jack and Nicole "pick a place to sleep. I don't care where." "Hey,where's Kaitlyn?" I asked. Kaitlyn came right after I said it and smiled "Sup dipshits" I rolled my eyes she can be so much like Julie sometimes. "Zach,Alex, Charlie, and me are gonna go to that mall and get some,cause we're moving location. So get your shit packed." Julie yelled from the kitchen. "You could'v-" "Told you? Yeah,but I decided not to." I rolled my eyes and walked up to the room I was staying in. I layed back on bed and sighed. "Why did this happen? Can't this just go back to normal......."
