Late

Connie woke up the next day to the sound of someone saying her name.
"Connie" Jacob said from where he was sitting on her other couch.
She sat up and looked at him, "I guess you want to know why you are here?" she asked him.
"Trust me I know very much why I'm here" he told her.
"Tell me then, because part of still doesn't know how you went from almost sleeping with some whore to sleeping on my couch" she snapped.
"I said the wrong name" he said.
"What?" Connie asked, slightly confused.
"Well we were about to, you know, and I moaned the wrong name" Jacob confessed.
"Nice one Jacob, who's name was it?" She asked.

"You" Jacob said looking her right in the eye.
"Excuse me? You were about to have sex with another woman and you moaned my name" Connie said.
"Yes" he mumbled.
"Jacob! Why?" She asked him.
"Because I want you Connie, I have since the moment I met you. When Cal kissed you I was so jealous that I had to get out of there, forget about it. I thought she could make me forget but she couldn't, she told me to come to you, to tell you how I feel. So that's what I'm going to do. Connie I love you!" Jacob said getting louder as he went on.

Connie was shocked but in less than five seconds she was on top of him kissing him like her life depended on it.
She pulled away eventually and rested her head against his, "I love you too" she whispered.
"Well that's good after what you've just done" he said.
"Don't get cocky or I won't ever do it again" she replied with a glare.
"Of course Queen Bee" he said.
"So what was this woman's real name?" Connie asked.
"That's the thing, I can't remember. She told her name after I said yours but for the life of my I just can't remember, Anna? Alicia? Antonia? It began with A. I think" he confessed.
"Oh god Jacob!" Connie said laughing.
"I swear if you ever forget my name I will throttle you" she said.
"Yeah but then you can give me mouth to mouth" he said before attaching his mouth to hers again.

An hour later Jacob pulled out of Connie for the third time and he wrapped his arms around her waist.
"You do realise we are late for work right?" Jacob asked her.
Connie flew up and looked at the clock, "shit, shower now!" She said standing up and pulling on his hand.
"Oooh shower sex" Jacoh said with a grin.
"Jacob we are half an hour late already!" Connie scolded.
"Exactly, what's an extra ten minutes gonna be?" He said smirking at her.

Connie and Jacob pulled up to work an hour later making them an hour and a half late. They had taken Connie's car because Jacob's was still in the carpark by the bar. There was no point hiding the fact that they arrived together, Dixie and Zoe were stood outside as they pulled up anyway.
Zoe stared at them smirking as they walked in then looked at Dixie who nodded knowingly.
"Mrs Beauchamp, I am very sorry about last night but I was wondering if you wanted to get a drink tonight?" Cal said as she entered reception.
Connie rolled her eyes then turned around to face Jacob, she kissed him gently on the lips, "I'll see you later, love you" she said.
"Love you too" Jacob said.
Cal stood watching in awe as Connie walked away.
"Sorry mate, she has plans tonight" Jacob said patting Cal on the shoulder walking past him.
