The death of Maria

As the guys walked up stairs to their rooms Ali was in his room trying to wake Maria up.
"Maria, Maria wake up. Don't you die on me. Whatever you do don't die." He said gently shaking her as he said her name. He continued to gently shake her and calling her name, but that wasn't working. So he did the next best thing. . . He kissed her. After he kissed her she woke up.
"(coughing) Ali is that you?" She asked. She tried to sit up not realizing that she was injured.
"Ouch." She said.
"Don't try to move. If you do you will hurt yourself a lot more than he did." He said.
"What did he do to me?" She asked
"He beat you up?" He said.
"He did?" She asked as tried to open her eyes but she couldn't.
"Yes, he did." He said as he waved his hand over her. He healed her. She could open her eyes.
"Why would he do that?" She asked.
"Remember what we talked about earlier?" He asked.
"Yes, what about it?" She said as she sat up.
"Well, he heard us." He said.
"He did?" She asked.
"Yes, he did." He said gazing into her eyes.
"How?" She asked as she gazed into his eyes.
"There are intercoms in every room except the dungeon." He said.
"But why would he do that to me?" She asked.
"Because he thinks you don't love him and he thinks I'm trying to steal you away from him." He said.
"But why would he think that?" She asked still gazing into his eyes.
"Because I am trying to steal you away from him." He said still gazing into her eyes.
"Why?" She asked.
"To save your life." He said.
"Why would you have to save my life?" She asked.
"Because one of these days he might actually kill you." He said.
"Why would he kill me?" She asked.
"You're asking too many questions." He said.
"Sorry." She said.
"That's ok, but to answer your last question. The girlfriends he had before Trisha they're...." He said.
"They're what?" She asked.
"They're dead." He said.
"What?! How did they die?" She asked in shock.
"The first one he strangled her, and the other one he suffocated her." He said.
"He did?" She asked.
"Yes, he did. I witnessed it all." He said.
"I feel sorry for them." She said.
"Wait don't you have powers?" He asked.
"Yes I do, why?" She asked.
"You could bring them back."
"No I can't" She said.
"Why not?" He asked.
"Because he might sense the use of my powers and stop me before I could completely bring me back." She said.
"No he won't. I'll be there to protect you." He said.
"Really?" She asked.
"Yes. Now lets go to sleep." He said.
"Ok. Goodnight" She said as she climbed under the covers.
"Goodnight." He said. He kissed her then laid down beside her, wrapped his arms around her, and fell asleep.
