(A/N): I really hope you guys start to like this new version... I know its very different but some of the traits in the last book were not anything like a reality so this one will be better written and I think you'll like it.
Carrie helped me unpack my luggage and soon I found what Ben left for me.
A laptop.
And I cried. I cried as it turned on and when I saw it. Carrie was confused at first but then I explained my situation.
I powered up the laptop and was met with a chromebook interface and brand new features. This computer was probably one of the new releases. And I loved it.
As I explored the features I felt my bed dip as someone plopped down on it.
"Hi! I'm Raven! What's your name?" Her peppy voice brought a smile to my face. i looked at her, she had her hand held out and a bright smile on her face. I shook her hand.
"I'm Elizabeth but you can call me--"
"Izza? Can I call you Izza?" She asked nervously.
"Of course, how old are you?" I asked.
"I'm seven and a half, how old are you?" She asked.
"I'm seventeen," I replied.
"Wow, you are really old, the second oldest girl is Meredith, she's fourteen, but she doesn't like me," She frowned.
"Well, I bet that's not true, she's probably just shy."
"No," She just shook her head and walked away. I wasn't able to get another word because she had already disappeared.
I went back to my computer, pulling up wattpad. I'd have to make a new account. So I set another one up and searched for my old account. I had only deleted it yesterday. And with all the messages on my wall it seemed like it had been weeks.
I clicked on the 'Send Message' button and began to type something up for Katie.
Hey its Eliza! Good luck with the account. I've decided that it's yours to keep. I'm going to delete this account after I send this message and just use my email. The orphanage I was put in is most certainly not what I expected. The head of it is in her early twenties and she is super nice. Continue to write, I might be back one day. Oh, BTW I'm in Mullingar, your BF's hometown.
I finished by giving her my email and sent the message. After sending it I went to my settings and closed the account.
"Are you a writer?" A voice from behind me called and I almost jumped from my skin.
"Oh, you scared me. And yeah, I guess I like to write," I turned around to face a tall girl with long blonde hair that reached her waist, she favored Raven immensly.
"I like to write too, I'm Meredith," She said, walking closer.
"Are you related to Raven?" I asked.
"Unfortunately, Yes."
"What's wrong with Raven?" I asked. She gave me a large glare and turned around, once she reached the door she turned to face me.
"YOu wouldn't understand."
"Eliza, You are the oldest in the whole orphanage, you are more like a leader than an orphan. I would love your help around here," Carrie said calmly with a tinge of nervousness behind her words.
"Carrie, I would be happy to help. I know how it feels to be mistreated and I want to make these kids feel like a family."
"Oh, I am super happy you think that because I really need you. I haven't been able to hire anyone because I really didn't have the money to pay for it. But now I'm just trying to keep this place up and running."
