// Friendly reminder that Clara Oswald leaves in a couple of weeks. </3 I'm so behind on Doctor Who but I heard this song and it was so chilling that I wanted to write a (sort of?) Whoufaldi inspired poem to show a tribute to my favorite companion.
There's a Ghost by Fleurie. \\There's a ghost haunting me,
Running through time,
Forgotten by all but one
Coming for me.There's a sound,
It's haunting her dreams
Coming for her as she
Dreams of me.There's an impossible girl,
Once she was mine
And I, hers
Traveling through spaceThere's a heartbeat
Under my floor,
A blackbird at my door
Singing nevermore, nevermore.There's a promise I made
To her, a duty of care
Now shattered with all the lies
Heaping on my chest, throwing me to the floor. There's a blue box waiting outside,
Doors waiting to be closed.
And taken on a final ride
To see the planet nevermore.Everyone she knew was either
Dead or dying, a ghost with
No name, but kindness in her eyes.
A control freak but perfect for me.There's a ghost with no name
She's haunting me. Introduced
As my carer, no more.
Just a ghost to me.And I can hardly breathe.
Oh, nevermore.
Nevermore.
