L I E S [8.12 - Final Scene]

Oh.. Well... That finale. That was the end of season eight. No big deal, or anything. Okay, but in all seriousness, I'm slowly dying inside from that finale... and the ending... it hurt so much. Clara and the Doctor's final conversation... That's what this poem is inspired by. And the song on the side. Enjoy!

Live like you're broken;
Show the world your scars.
They see it in your eyes,
Don't try to hide it.
We're all liars,
Lying to ourselves and others
So they don't have to see the 
Pain you try to hide...
Now while he found
Gallifrey in that
Dark black sky,
She reunited with
Danny in a child
Who's not hers
Just another line
Spewed from tormented
Souls, lies upon lies
Wishing for release
Now, if only we all
Could wake up with 
Amnesia,
Then maybe we could
Find once more those times
Where nothing was wrong.
Because in truth
We're not fine.
