Flare and fade,

Around and around

As the sun heads

D o w n.

Flare

Through a g e s and c e n t u r i e s.

Fly through s p a c e and t i m e.

Never stopping, the running man.

Fade

As companions say g o o d b y e.

Sit down with that last page,

When time catches up for a l l.
